dont know if dis has ben said but. howbout a choice of hiding ur rank when you come into the chat room. i know alot of people have dowloaded it and play full-screen. that way the only people who can see yur rank is you when you first enter the chat room. and people who look at the top scores page? ???

Actually its a good idea i suppose. I mean if youwant to enjoy fightin but don't get many challenges because of rank hunters you could have a better chance of a fight.

ya gotta understand the ranking sytem EVIL-AKUMA.
the hidding is useless not because of what you been saying, but because people will still know what is your rank as only those who play for rank will not hide it, so people who do not play for rank will thus they are surely above the 1000 which is usually true !

the system works this way...
the more you play the more points you get, the more points you get the lower your rank gets !
but if you play very high ranked people, you will most likely not get any thing big point wise. if you fight a rank /1 person and you are top 2000, chances of you getting in the top 50 in one fight increases by a lot, because you fought a very very low ranked person !

so like he said, rank hungry people only seeks people that are a certain rank and lower because it goves them alot more points and makes their rank get lower pretty damn fast !

so basically, even if you say RASNKS SUCKs, even me say that, there is still a lot of #### who still say no it rocks and plays for it to happen, thus many ignores you because of your rank !

as for the idea that was mentionned, well i'm in the middle of it, do as you please...
its a good idea, there is no problem with it, thing is, will it really gives anything, that i doubt, but still its a good idea !

even if you "hide" it ppl still wont fight you cause the'll just memorize top 20 ppl :biggrin: back then it never showed what rank we were...but ppl were still rank hungry and knew your rank
