hey tmyapp, i know what your saying, but there's other problems with the dashing as well, not just the ones your hearing... yes you CAN dragon punch, but its hard to do when your playing some laggy ass player, and frames are skipping like crazy, also... in the "real" XM vs SF, when you dash, your blocking, whats up with that change? this new dash isnt helpful at all, its just a new way to get your ass kicked... no, i dont want it taken out, but perhaps fixing it so you block during dash would end their commotion about taking out the dash.

Some ideas about fixing the dash:
Make it cancelable, I mean, the dash should stop if you hold "back" for while.
Make reaction time faster, player must tap "forward" faster. This way, it won't interfere with "Shoryuken" type moves too much.
Are the dashes cancelable by attacks? Characters should be able to cancel their dashes with a punch or kick.
That's all I can think of, feel free to add to the list though.

i also have another idea, but i dont know if everyone would aprove of these methods... i think that if you lowered the frame skip rate all the way, and the frame rate a little bit... it would, yes slow things down a bit.. but it would reduce lag, and pulling off specials and super wouldnt be messed over from frames skipping...
whatcha think?
