Joystick/gamepad replaces keyboard - I found a program to use a gamepad but..

Hey pplz i was browsing the web and looking for a program to let u use a gamepad instead of a keyboard. I was able to find one but I dont know how to make it work. When I downloaded it, it came with a wordpad document explaining how to get it to work but i still couldn't figure it out. So i really dont know if this will work or not. I'll post the links that i got it from and if anyone figures out how to work it, let me know.

That's preety good man. But not to pop ur bubble. Wouldn't you try it out for yourself before recommending/telling people to try it out.

I know when i get a controller for my comp, i'll try whatever works. So, good idea. I also think there's another thread about this somewhere. But meh.

No joystick/gamepad will be able to work. TMyApp has to code it in before u can use it. Example if he doesn't code keyboard. Then we can't use keyboard to play. Hope this help :biggrin:

Oh i did test this out but didn't know how to set it up. I downloaded it and unzipped the folder. There were 5 files in the folder, one of them being a wordpad explaination on how to work it. I could'nt figure it out. Someone who knows how to technicly use a computer might figure this out. Oh and Evil-Akuma, this setup is suppose to replace your keyboard with a gampad. In other words the comp will think your using a keyboard when in fact your using a gampad.

no joystick/gamepad will work on sfo. It will detect the button but u won't be able to use it in the game

Im afraid your wrong Evil Akuma. That link that ermac posted does work. I plugged in my gamepad, set up the config and it worked. That's right, IT WORKS. I was playing street fighter online yesterday with the gamepad. It's really amazing cause not even i thought it would work. It's unbelievable how much playing with a gamepad makes a difference in the game. U should try it sometime.
