i m looking for actual gamepad support instead of keyboard because its more tiresome and using a joystick is just wierd.

Hopefully this shouldnt bother the creators but other games do have this feature.

All you have to do man is buy an gamepad, or Playstion2 game controller Converter(from Radioshack $10.00 ) the download this program from this site and your all set, after you download program joy to key. Extract all files, then click on joystick icon, and set your controls in joystick 1 and joystick 2.(joystick 1 is for the keyboard, and Joystick 2 is for your Gamepad i think, or the other way around lol.) here it is http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA016823/joytokey/english.html

btw dont get fooled by the name of the program joystick to key, cause it accepts gamepads too...... good luck any other questions send me a message

Unless you use a conversion device to imput keys as joystick/gamepad commands, Sfo does not support gamepads... However, in the future maybe it can be added on to the game...

In the past tmyappz answered questions like this one.
If you look in some section you may be able to see it.
It has been a while though so it might be behind some topics maybe like in areas of the 200's lolz  not sure where though

actually at the moment i don't think there is any game pad compatibilty withthe game,
but i think in the near future there will be,

also there was talk of being able to play the game online via gaming console a while back, ie the dream cast but TMyApp said it'll be bugged like helll so there'd not be much point, or something like that anyway

As far as gamepads are concerned, the only way you can use the gamepad to play the game is if you can map certain keys on the keyboard (i.e. the one you would normally use for ur game... be it the default or your personal configuration) to the gamepad.

There are some programmes out there that'll do this for you... unfortunately, I'm not an expert in that area, so I can't tell you of any. However, if you can do this, then you should be able to play the game with your gamepad.

The thing is, I personally think the keyboard is better for this game. Cause you'd be typing s d a as fast as anything. You can't do that with much ease tapping down forward and A ... typing s d a seems a bit easier
