View Full Version : How about allowing your control settings to be saved?

I don't know about anyone else, but i like to change my controls around a bit..... unfortuantely, it doens't save this feature, and I sometimes forget to do iut and get screwed over in a match. Perhaps you could have a small text file that the game can open and read to check your button settings?

lol, i went into the game and my controls were not set, i thought my keyboard was broken, and snaped it in half, i think u sould get something that saves are settings, cause i dont like stealing keyboards from the school, lol

yea i agree with you guys. I always get pumped to fight then i ralize my controls are messed up and i get really mad then i die. SO you guys should really do something about this. Aight?

I asked TMy about this awhile back ago, Director can use a cookie that it saves all your control info in so you wouldnt have to set it everytime. He said it was on the list of features that he planned on adding, so all we have to do is be patient.

You can't save it, because it is shocwaze and as soon as you quit it resets. :sad:

Trust me Selvin it can be done. It may reset when you exit, but the cookie stays. Then when you start the program up again, it can go look for that cookie to see how the controls are set up. It would not be a tough thing to add, but I know TMy has so many other fixes that are more important that takes up all his free time that this feature will be added in due time.

yep, its a good idea... no one can argue with that... and it CAN be done (it's not TOO hard)...

and as always, it is on the list... along with a 100 other good ideas...

look @ it this way, would u rather have me spend a week implementing this, or, release Chun-Li a week early ?? :biggrin:

yes i think the crotrols should be able to be saved because i use arrows to move and numbers 4 unches and qwe 4 kicks

Leaving the Sabin debate to everyone else, I'll just say that saving the controls is a great idea.
