[ NIGHT OF THE SENTINELS ] - official discussion

well, we haven't had too many updates over the last few weeks (seems like i keep saying this over and over)... but, all that is about to change :biggrin:

0.3g is live... a number of small changes were made... for one, you can no-longer have an "infinite variable" attack by performing shinku over and over again in the air...

... priorities for Logan and Li were tweaked as well, from now on, not EVERY attack with stop their hyper moves... in addition, Logan now covers more ground than ever with his Berserker Barrage... making him deadlier than before (and FINALLY useful for those "crossover" attacks)... :biggrin:

Night of the Sentinels (NOTS) has been announced in the loading screen of the game... what is it? why.. a special XvsSF event! what else ??!! :biggrin:

it may not be as big as the release of Cyclops (later this month... or the 1st week of June at the latest) ... u really can't compare to the change a new character will bring.. but, it will still be BIG (if not 'huge') ... no other info will be given... u'll just have to show up @ 12am next Sat to see what exactly i'm talking about :biggrin:

Top Scores will be reset the same week Scott is out... and, the "weapon-x" event (yes, it is an EVENT... probably just as big as NOTS) is still TBA...

i'm going to be honest with you... whatever u may think my reasons are for doing this (or any other) event.. it is not to get people "to play this game more"... if we get an extra 100 hits, it makes NO difference to me... if anything, its just more bandwidth that lefty and i have to pay for out of our own pockets....

i thought this "event" would be something "new" and "fresh"... for the people that already LIKE the game (and don't even need to see anything new)... for people that understand what i'm trying to do.. and for those who can see past the bugs long enough for them to be fixed... if anything, it is a "thank you" to all those people... for their support... a "thank you" that will hopefully allow them to enjoy the game even more... (not some cheap trick that will make them not want to come back ever again)....

that was about sentinel, but i think it could be a survival game like the introduction of a survival mode with sentinel has the opponent, lots of sentinel 1 after another that could be great for practice !

TMyApp: i remember that images you had placed i saw it in senshukentaikai.com and on warmor site... the images where you saw cyclops sentinel and ryu beaming up all together... it cannot be a 6 player fight (4 with 1 helpers).
