Uploading - In the forum

Y cant it be possible for us to always host our banners on a website when we can upload. If this could be added puttin banners would be a lot easier.

I don't think I understand, but if you're looking for a place where you can upload your files, I recommend creating a group at Yahoo! Groups (http://groups.yahoo.com)
You MUST set the files to public

i mean uploadin ur banners rather then on another website and then copying the url to get them here in the forum

from what i've seen so far on forums the only time you can ever upload a pic is in the post its self...in all of the ones i've been on you've had to host the image for you're sig even if you can upload them in you're posts...but it could be simply becase of the type of forum this is because it might not support uploading or tmy just hasn't wanted to download and install the hack/mod that lets you upload pics

If Tmyapp decided to let us upload the files in his site, I beleive he would need more money for his bandwith cost. That and the minimum amount to be a VIP would probably increase too.

but first... i gotta say that this question burned our lips form the very start of this forum !

FACT:
this forum doesn't belong to TMYAPP.
it BELONGS to LEFTYFB ! on HIS SERVER !
an heck of a server if ya can find the picture of it !
he showed it to us at some point !

anyway...
so its not TMYAPP to decide if he host or not your banner !
as for SPACE... LEFTYFB has plenty of it left, so its no problem !

but...
this kind of forum doesn't allow UPLOADS to the server.
but i guess an FTP ACCESS could be used here !

anyway...
be glad that we can actually use our own AVATAR and BANNER which we couldn't in the first place !

so final answer...
this forum will never have any UPLOAD FEATURE cause the forum doesn't support it !
but... if you want LEFTY to host your images... you can ask him about it !

i know he did for some people back then who wanted to have their own avatar and LEFTY had to put it in the database !
examples would be ELENA, RAZZ, NOSOUL4EVER, ZING79 and much more !

you scroll thru the avatar and see the names of those who had uploaded their own thru LEFTYFB !

I assume you mean an image uploader like BG has. I'm not sure which version of ikonboard(if any) has that option, but I know this board doesn't and probably won't. Just more useless stuff taking up lefty's space.
