Well, about 6 hours ago, on Oct 8th, the top scores were finaly reset.

Few hours later they were reset again... and again... anyway, after 4 resets, i think we're ok now :biggrin:

Whats new about this version ?? well, for one, you now have points. And, here is a quick breakdown of how the point system works:

1: you get -10 points for every loss
2: you get 10 points if you beat someone who has a lower rank than you
3: if the person you beat has MORE points, you will receive half the difference of the points between you (so, if you have 10 points and he has 50, you get 20 points, plus, your original 10, for a total of 30 points!)

... that should be it.

Now, if you were pretty high up, your probably pissed right now, but, thats life :biggrin:

We had to do this. It is a better system, the newer players needed a chance to get up the ladder, and, most of all, Logan changed the game too much.

By this time tommorow there should be an "archive" section on the first page of the scores/ladder, so that you can always go back, and remmeber the good'ol days :biggrin:

I realy think its a good thing what you done with the score system, now I will get a chance to get a good score.

Well so long to first place :( . well at least many people will have a chance at first, and that would be fair :)

With the installment of Wolverine and being able to choose your own helper the game will be run by newbies. Let me explain. You choose Ryu and Player27 chooses Wolverine. Your helper is Sentinel and Player27's helper is Psylocke. Player27 will win in my opinion. Psylocke hurts you bad. While you are recovering little old Wolverine can come in and Berseker Barrage X you to the Nebula.

its a good system.all you veteran players will back on the top of the list in no time...at least some of those wild card newbies will still pose a threat to your titles now :)

Great I like it, I can move up with skill and not sure wins! ;)

And Selvin I disagree, a newbies game not, if you are better you will win. TMyApp, if you remeber the games we played the other night, tell him that having Psylocke and being Ryu and your opponont being Ryu and having Sentinal don't matter! ;)

if u suck.. u'll suck with 40 helpers on your side :biggrin:

i mean, i pick Psylocke whenever possible, but i still lose all the time :(

the top ranked will be screwy for awhile but as all the vet's play and stuff everything will settle down and people will be were they belong... my opinion anyway!

I'll probably be at the bottom of the list since I don't play very much. But that's the way the sausage ummm... splits.
