This question has plagued me for a while. How come all of the hot radios stations are on fm frequency and not on Am frequency.. Maybe the govt. uses it to contact aliens.. woo oooo oo oooo.. thats the old star-trek theme music lol :alien:

Am(Amplitude Modulated)-Basically Am radio is intended just for news and more of talk radio...i think because there frequency isn't that strong. They have a low MHz count.

Fm(Frequency Modulated)- Yeah these are your music stations, these stations have more MHz so the music has a more quality type of sound
