Haahaha, man flip these fools, I ain't Pullin' my Pants uP!

"Baggy Pants Bill"
House Bill 1626, also known as the “Baggy Pants Bill” states: “It shall be unlawful for any person to appear in public wearing his pants below his waist and thereby exposing his skin or intimate clothing.”

State Representative Derrick Shepherd’s bill would make any violator subject to three eight-hour days of community service and up to a fine of $175.

Cpl. Mark Francis/Lafayette Police Dept.: We believe a lot of these people who wear their pants like that, a lot of times they are also involved in illegal activities. So, this would be a tool that we can use to control these individuals...

Corporal Francis also says he does not think the "lowrider" law is necessary, and says law enforcement agencies already have their hands full with other things.

It's a trend that doesn't look like it's going away anytime soon, unless Louisiana lawmakers make it illegal. http://www.klfy.com/Global/story.asp?S=1850190

Yeah, I've seen people get arrested just for this small thing. Especially in the train station near my high school.
but it looks stupid. Someone walking around with their ass hanging out. It makes you look like a bum, especially for those people who's pants got ruined because they're stepping all over it.

Something little as a "belt" can save someone from getting arrested.

I actually like this law. I am tired of these little gangster kids showing off their boxers to the world. It is so stupid. Why would someone get themselves unconfortable to be lifting your pants every freaking minute. Well that's just my opinion. I am not "ghetto" enough to know.

Lol... even though it might seem unethical, putting it on a bill... Excuse my language but WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!

It's ammusing. Things like this should be the job of the ones that raised those kids. If they never cared enough to tell them to dress properly, then forget it. They'll learn the hard way; when they can't get jobs or get hired in certain areas cause of their dress codes.

And besides, this doesn't change anything. I watched the news feed on Comcast and I was very ammused. An interview from a teen and I quote...

They dress their way, and I would dress my way!

More power to the people
