Why this place has gotten soo boring.. - Your views!

There was a time when this Place was FUN as hell, well... that time is now gone. What do you all think HAPPENED to that time? What're your views on it?

Well mine are:
-PeoPle don't feel tha need to Post as much anymore.
-PeoPle don't stick to tha toPic.
-PeoPle make USELESS Threads.
-PeoPle tend to make STUPID threads to get known or feel funny.
-PEOPLE DON'T MAKE MUCH SENSE!
-PeoPle make threads such as: How many are this n' that, who does this n' that, (such as this one).


There was a time like 2 or 3 years ago, when I came online like even 3 'o clock in tha morning and rePlied to a thread and waited like 3 mins and saw that someone else had rePlied. It was SOO exciting, seriously, that's when it felt like a COMMUNITY. Everyone did stuff together, I remember back in tha Day.. Me, Gothic ArchAngel, My buDDY Wrestlemania and a few others, just rePlied in like EVERY thread and had DIFFERENT conversations! That was FUN, like UP-TO-DATE kinda stuff. It MADE you wanna stay uP and have convos.

I think if we all stick to something and go along with it, we can do something about it. Like if we starting stick to toPics, Posted everywhere and MADE SENSE, and had conversations with PeoPle. This could be all FUN again!

I really doubt many of you care about this, but if you read this, Please rePly and tell me what you think or if yer with us n' shlt.

Umm, i really cant think of how RI can be saved.
Maybe... hmm, rules? Or good conversations? And topics set for groups of members (friend groups)
Which will hopefully get rid of enoying kids posting random crap.

Karma already made a topic like this one. I think and this is just my honest opinion. INSTEAD of complaining MAKE A DAMN THREAD SO PEOPLE CAN REPLY. If you REALLY want this forum to be as you call it interesting to you. Make a thread that you are interested in and do like everyone eles and wait for a reply. Damn man its pointless making threads like this saying the forum is boring and poop. To be honest half of people on here dont give a poop about the community. They just want to play the damn game and leave the drama to the geeks and ###s. Thats all I come to SFO for is to play the damn game. I dont give a poop whos talking poop on a forum words dont mean poop man anybody can argue online.
Pretty much the reason ALOT of people who play SFO dont even bother to make replies on this forum. Theres still people here who like to talk alot of poop just because they can. I still see people flamming each other and its fliping pointless and retarded. I can see if its legit like someone started posting poop about you or something then you respond. but NO people just flame for no damn reason and the reason they do give is retarded. I say if you really care about the community which you say. Make topics that you think will interest yourself and others on this forum. Try, try, try and try again if you really care you'll stay determined.
I use to post on this forum alot untill I found out alot of ###s who dont even play the game. Come here and talk poop just for fun which is a waste of my time. the two main reasons of this ASSHOLE, is two of the reasons you already mentionned !

1 - people always go offtopic, they just can't stay on topic they always will be someone coming in and say by the way what do you of this when the topic is an actual RPG, GAME or whatever other fun topics we had back then !

2 - People makes stupid thread just to get their post up or just to try and get the attention !

these two are the main reasons there is too this boring phase, but what would be the best solution to it is to actually try and make fun for yourself, as i mentionned the fun factor of web site is the most wanted thing, or else people don't stay... so making threads like this one won't help except perhaps help in the way that it will give people your opinion and maybe as well wake them up ! at l;east that was why i created a topic like this one in GENERAL !

but as ZPOWER said, blaming only will not help, we gotta stick together and try to make things a bit more fun by ourselves and just hope people will join in !

take example, i recreated my gaming trivia show and see how people get into it, i just can't believe i actually made a thread people like !
but its all int he fun factor, it goes on and off, its just up to us to keep it on the ON position more then the other !

lol hehe, sbyrds speech makes me feel more happy cuz im a vet, nyahahaha... *looks down at each younging* thats right, im up ehre and ur not. lol. i think wut took the zeal from sfo is all these fancy moves... with the realease of each character... sum tweaks would b made to each other character to make it so they can fight fair... now we got spideys flying with theyr kicks cyclopses shooting like mad sents rocket punching... the yrs of the shoto where each playr was equalled until they had 2 shows theyr skills are over... fighting with shoto seems t ob the best fights around... using hadouken the basic supers punches and ckiks those were the days... now we got moves that cover half the screen tag moves that can do double the damage... helpers that can almost fight as good as jus having another fighter on ur team fighting the match for u... stay in the ring for a long time... currently the new guile being able t ob used 8 times can do almost as much damage as a super if youuse him all 8 times... the tlf fighters can pin down fighters so easy and they cant b stopped... 3 yrs ago when i used 2 loose... id jus get back up and fight again... now the attitude is the same but the lag has increased... especially when i with against/with wolvie and spidy...

reasons why R.I. got even worse then before :

People going off-topic

People tryng to flame everybody to feel cool(sorry only a certain group of people can do that and are actually cool)

People comin less here cuz of the no-post count

People comin less online cuz they feel like the forum is not worth it no more

Cuz some old members became stupid and don't know what to do no more

People are scared to start their own topics cuz people will come and flame it like they always do

Cuz before it was a cool community the old members were nice, the new members were less stupid, the topics were cool to post in

Now I ain't gonna go and say the new people are now stupid, Saijin_ryu is a cool member, Virtual is a cool member and others, but now people just don't care anymore.......

I would like to say that I couldn't agree with Asshole and Byrd more. They nailed it right on the head. I miss the old days, when this forum was actually FUN. When getting on was EXCITING. It really was a great community. but times change, and now this place is but a shadow of what it used to be. Now it's just like marve|911 said, " Coming here feels like a chore." I miss the old days.. Where variable combinations were exciting. Now it is just crazy.. All of this new stuff.. I'm not saying all of it is bad, some of it is actually pretty neat. It would be cool if TMy added a ' Classic ' mode or something..

We need to take some steps so things change.. This place has gotten so boring that I haven't even looked at it for the past month or so. If not, I'm afraid this forum would just wither away.. All of the great members would leave.. And there would be no life here.. It would be just like a... A wasteland.. And I know I don't want to see that happen..
