Dbz budokai - The real deal

ok im not sure if i should buy this game. people say its good, others say its not worth buying. people say graphics are good. from the screenshots i have seen im not too impressed.

it would realy help me if i got your ideas. if u have the game or have played it is it worth buying? is it good at all? what is it like? plz help me out here people, i dont wanna waste my money if its no good. so is this game ,dragonballz budokai,the real deal?

all dbz games = ####. the gameplay is so goddamn poor, and usually the graphics are usually...crap. i don't think it's worth buying or even looking at in my opinion. don't even rent it.

well i've seen video clips of it in action. cause on some forums and websites they sed it was quite good, and then i searched for some video clips. from what i saw......................it sucked.

:0 Machine do not get this game it sucks graphics are bad i dont get it why go from 2D to 3d it makes it look like crap. Plus it not like any normal fighting game in order to do a super unique move, lets say kamahamaha! for exp. You have to have a capsule in order to do that move u get all kinds of capsule from store after u beat someone. Storymode just like the cartoon. This is the best DBZ game made so far.
Thou, I didn't say it's the best, because we all know Gran Turismo and MGS are, but it IS worth buying, if you have the money...

they all got there flaws, but what games don't have some ?
DBGT : final bout was so boring when i played it and still i founded the game to be not so bad.

when you have a very good gameplay !

For all the people who dont know what your talking about stfu. :biggrin: I bought the game and it is worth the money. When Trunks goes to do the Burning Attack they get a close up of him. He does all the hand motions like in the show. Then they get a close up of his face then he says the name of the attack.. And most of the voices are exactly the same from the american show. Not to mention that there is no lip syncing. All words are on que with the mouth movements. Trust me this is a good investment. Then when you get sick of the game sell it on ebay.. :biggrin:

I hate 3d fighting games.........my favorite dragonball game is dragonball Z Hyper Dimension in the snes.......I just love that game......... :biggrin:

Read my review at VGM Fusion. Some things not mentioned in the review...

Screenshots do not do it justice. The game looks much better than the low-res (less than 320x200) images show.

You can do some freakin' pretty things in the game, like Vegeta's b+k b+k p p p p e -> Galic Gun near the edge of the ring to send them out of the ring into a mountain for 1000+ damage.

Hercule (a.k.a. Mr. Satan) is a playable fighter in the game, and it is hilarious just listening to him as he yells out things like, "Coup de grace (horribly mispronounced)," "Megaton Punch Attack," and, "I am the strongest!"

Battle arenas are somewhat interactive. There's wall stuns, air stuns, multi-leveled stages, and environmental damage from hitting people through things.

There's 23 characters in the game, each of them using their trademark attacks. Anything from Super Vegeta to Yamucha, and Android #19 to Nappa is in the game.

The game is seriously worth buying. If you like DBZ, then you should go get it. As a closing piece, MasterX05, you don't know #### about how to analyze a fighting game. Hyper Dimension is so freakin' easy. Goku's QCB+K QCF+P f, d, df+K is TOO good and deals too much damage. Hyper Dimension is a mere shell of what other fighting games are, including this new one if you take the time to analyze it.

Hyper dimension is good, but they make you able to pull out despearation moves so easily that i could kill an opponent with only 10 of energy ! and my friend had like 400 (MAXIMUM allowed)

but i agree, it was a very good game, but the best on snes is DBZ : Super Butoden 2
it was the best...
the third was missing story mode and the first had very good story and a lot of chars, but they weren't so good. in the second one, me and my friend were almost all the time BLAST DUELING as when i make a super he just try to blow me up too !

well, i can be wrong on this, i haven't been really playing with vegeta a lot, my friend was (when he fought me). then again it could be the other way around...

UP, DOWN + PUNCH
yeah it is defitely better that way.
*try to remember*
- jump in the air
- does the up key while in air
- do the DOWN key while hitting the ground
- pressing the P key right after the down key

*vegeta grabs the opponent*
*vegeta jump up with the opponent in hands*
*vegeta throws it back on the ground*
*before the opponent hits the ground, vegeta does ranzoku enegy dan*
*after 30 fireballs, he does FINAL SHINE*
*get back on the floor*

yep, i remember it good it is definetely UP, DOWN + PUNCH !

i like goku better in this one, the others sucks !
well, goku and vegeta have great desperation but others are just sucking hard !
