Cant go in story mode

Ok i can go in story mode and go to the charachter selection but when i select ryu the game just stops...this just started this morning, i used to go into the story mode offline (with the player account) and it used to work and now i cant even go online (with my account). I really want to go in to story mode to just play.....so can any1 tell me wat can i do?

If you're using the downloaded version, then make sure all the cct files are downloaded and placed in the same folder in which SFO is placed. Then re install SFO and start again... it should work :biggrin:
See... this site (http://streetfighteronline.com/download.htm), make sure all those files are placed in the same directory on ur hard drive.. like your desktop or documents. Then go there intall SFO and enter the story mode. It should work now.
I don't see any reason the game shouldn't work if you're playing the web version. But try clearing ur cache and restarting the game. I hope this helps.. :biggrin:

I told you this was working yesterday...I have all of the updates. I dont think downloading everything again would help..would it?

Hmm.. I don't really know what the problem is.. but since you're using the downloaded version, then there should be correct source to where the problem is coming from. :biggrin:

Although downloading everything again to make sure you haven't mistakenly deleted an important file. All files gotte from that page I gave you should be in the same folder. Some of 'em may not seem important or useful like the one named Multiuser, but they are. So make sure you've got all the files in the same directory. Try re installing SFO and see if it works. :biggrin:

well now i have another problem i cant even play in teh multiplayer mode now! Im downloading everything in another folder (again)

OK now i cant download the .dll files (it says 404 error) so can u send me that file by msn or something if you choose to my msn is kamran3333@hotmail.com

Heh.. Well, the .dll files are for folks that had problem with the shockwave player.. Some ppl had a little bit of problem and TMyApp had to put in those files for download. At this point, we're going through a little bit of "change" so some of those files wouldn't be available to the public... but in due time they will.

Try installing shockwave player again from Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com) and try playing the web version for now. :biggrin:

In due time the .dll files will be up for downloads... I hope. :biggrin:
