Slow hits - When i hit someone energy doesnt go

whenever i play and i hit someone with a special their energy doesnt go. Only after a bit of time it goes but when they hit me my energy goes like its supposed to could someone tell me why this happens.

this my friend is called lag.........It does that when you're fighting someone with a slower connection then you.........it happens to everyone........ that's the problem of the online game but what can we do? TMy App is making updates to try to make the game better so just be thankful that the game exist and that it's free!!!!
