How about a better question... which one is a bigger f'n ripoff? They sell you a computer for over $1000 and expect you to use integrated sound / video??

Do your self a favor, and build your own. Contrary to popular belief, it is VERY simple. Just ask your local Hardwar Dealer what goes well with what, and buy the parts, you'll save $200-300 easy, especially if you buy the parts OEM.

Dell

HP's technology is too primitive. the design looks like something for a computer novice. HP costs too much and its stats suck.

i couldn't agree more !
custom made computers are always better !

if you gonna buy a computer, don't go with any COMPANIES. you'll just buy the names !
example:
HP = 2500$
INTEL = 1500$
and both models have the very same things !
but i ask you a favor...
NEVER BUY IBM COMPUTERS !
they are VERY STABLES, but men, what an hell to repair or upgrades !

anyway...
do your own computer and try to go for a good motherboard... that way you are almost sure to have a very good computer !
