The rangers are cool !
of the ones i find great are those...

TOMMY (Green/White),JASON (Red/Gold), ZACK (Black), ADAM (Black), BILLY (Blue, to some extent)

each had their very good reasons to be...
the first duo was TOMMY, not chief of the team, it was JASON back then !
TOMMY was a great friend of jason and tommy hapenned to have came back living in the town, and one day he helped the rangers and jason couldn't keep his secret from his old pal so TOMMY joined the rangers as the GREEN ranger. like a reserve ranger, but the green one had problems with his powers as the gold coin was made up too fast and had lots of flaws.

one day zordon and all closed the base for unknown reasons untilt he rest off the team found another ranger a strong version of their uniform ! a version that was way more powerfull then their power suits ! they feared the new ranger but had to go with it as they would work with it... as the new ranger appeared in front of them, they were surprised to see the new ranger being only TOMMY with whole new power suit !

it was great...
there is too black rangers because at one point AISHA, JASON and ZACK were going off on a travel and couldn't continue to be the rangers as it would only make their lives worst and they couldn't so they passed on to other friends of there !

the new 3 rangers were off thou, they were stupid !
except fot he ####lack ranger, many of you would love him, attitude wise, he was like RYU !
always in search of a challenge fighting wise, never declined a fight even against a monster and at that, one of the few rangers who, even without his power suit could just go at it hand to hand against them !

he even saved the other rangers a lot of time cause of that.
when they all lost their powers back int heend of the series he still was the man to defeat and the first target of the enemies !

one day i even seen him back in a whole new ranger team, he had his morpher and the episode was cool !

explain it... the monster appearwed out of nowhere like always and fought CARLOS (the actual black ranger) lots of baddies fought ADAM which was with carlos... but even thou he was able to defend easily everytime he killed one baddie 2 more surrounded him... so he was powerless to help CARLOS against the monster. but a smile came up his face instead of fear...

ALPHA (the robot who helps them):"If you activate your morpher with that broken gold coin, it can kill you !"
ADAM placed his hand in his bag... took the morpher and smiled upon it.

ALPHA:"NOOOOOOOOO"
CARLOS:"DONNNNNNN'TTTTTTTTTT"

*Placed his morpher on hand do the small motion and yells...*
ADAM:"MASTODON !!!!!"
the gold coin pulsate one last time and transform adam into the old black ranger he used to be back then.
the surprise on the evil chief when he saw another BLACK RANGER !
ADAM then kicked butt taking out where he left when he used to be a black ranger.

this episode will always stay imprinted on my mind, it was just awesome !
cheesy ending but yet the fight was cooler then anything else !
CARLOS had made a mistake and unvoluntarily broke the arm of the pink ranger, it was a mistake they were allsaying its normal to make some but carlos always said that if he had made a mistake then he wasn'T made to be a ranger and wanted to wuit, but adam always told him a risk his what they take everytime they fight a monster its the job of a ranger.

by taking the chance to die at the hand of his own morpher, ADAM prooved to carlos that taking a risk sometimes is always the best to do, its better to take it then staying there doing nothing !

man, you guys shoud have seen that episode you would have liked it to hel;l, it prooved how ADAM was truly made to be a ranger, too bad his morpher had used its last breath against that monster !

ok i know this might sound stupid but hey i like the rangers, may you think its stupid or not !

Honestly.. at age 10, I DID like the ORIGINAL Power Rangers... You know.. "MIGHTY MORPHIN' POWER RANGERS" .. with Zodon and the white ranger and all that. Right AFTER that era, it started getting pretty ghey x.x ... and this is in no way to offend those who liked/still like the power rangers :biggrin:

Actually, the rangers has to hand them their lives, cause they did save the rangers a few times !

i remember an episode where the rangers were all trapped and bulk and skull just jumped in trying to scare the monsters who's attention was throw away enough time for him to let go the rangers.

and i must say that hapenned a few times !
i agree... the rangers were cool when it started... the first 2 seasons if you know what i mean after that 3 of them jumped out and 3 new ones came in and that quite sucked considering that on the 3 2 were like stupid !

to be honest i liked more then the first 2 seasons, all of them had original idea's but most of them were plain stupid !

example..

POWER RANGERS

POWER RANGERS ZEO (that one truly sucked. except for one episode which was quite cool, i'll explain it later cause it was a classic)

POWER RANGER TURBO (quite the series, the old rangers were the ones since they were in ZEO and the original cast, but got threw away for a whole new team after a while)

POWER RANGER IN SPACE (Quite the original idea, truly just a sequel to TURBO as the TURBO one finished with them losing to the bad guys and the bad guys trying to conquer other planets, which the rangers decided to save and gone to space to follow only to find the last ranger in space defending which then gave them his old pals morphers)

POWER RANGERS ? ? ? ? ? ? (can't quite remember that one name, but it was a space station who travelled in space. it was like a star trek like thing, was pretty cool considering it was an open war between the colony and some other planets.)

POWER RANGERS WILD something.. (kinda of a sequel to the station one, pretty dumb.)

POWER RANGER LIGHTSPEED RESCUE (Pretty dumb, young people getting chosen for their special abilities as in that girl who was an expert in mountain climbing. it became kinda like the THUNDERBIRDS team. pretty dumb as well.)

POWER RANGERS IN TIME (The rangers of 3000 getting back in 2000 to folow a bad guy, everything they did here affected their time so they had to be carefull, seemed good at first but fell back on dumbness as fast as saying 1 2 3)

After that i lost track of it cause i had to let go the cable connection.
so i couldn't follow as much ! think there was 2 other series and i been told that the last LIGHTNING NINJA's one was kinda cool, but i never seen it so i can't tell !

it was like 3-4 years ago !
the TMNT episode was during the IN SPACE series if you wanna know !
but don't put your hopes up, it was as stupid as the rest of the show...
thing is the bad girl wanted something to be able to put down the rangers and the only thing capable of doing it were ninja's with the same abilities fighting wise, so she turned towards manhattant and placed the TURTLES in her power, so she could simply gave em orders and they would obey.

the fight were goods thou, but that's about all the episode was about !

back to the ZEO episode i found cool, BILLY at that time couldn't be a ranger anymore, he was irradiated when their bas fell and he had to save it from exploding... the GOLD ranger an ET had to give away his powers before he could dissolve and lose the powers for good, so billy tryed using them, but the thing couldn't be passed down, the irradiated body of is wasn't capable of supporting the rangers powers anymore. so they had to find someone else as long as it was back with the guy in the very short delay.

TOMMY was like, i know someone who is capable of it and i know he won't reject the idea of being a RANGER. give only a few days and i'll be back with him. so the others were like okay but hurry, we don't have so muich days left. a few days later outside the base TOMMY with another guyt were fighting badies who tryed slowing them down, the new guy was fighting like TOPMMY, and when i say like him i meant the very same moves. like they had trained under the same sensei.

The guy was hooded with rags so no one could see him.
when he arrived the others wanted ot know him.
TOMMY:"Here's the guy !"
The others were like who the hell is he to fight like that.
to their suprise, the hood got taken off by the man, reavealing JASON the original RED RANGER. he was happy to be back, back from his travels, back for his friends, and more, back to be a ranger and the most powerfull one at it, just like the old times !

TOMMY:"Told you he wouldn't refuse the offer !"

that was probably the only true great episode of the ZEO serie !
ZPOWER, TECHNIQUE...
i am mature, but maturity barely means to be listening and reacting when things happens in life and i'm definitely a mature guy.
i still like to see the old CARTOONS i used to watch when i was a kid and looking back at the past is what some people in this world needs to be happy as the future might not be as happy as it suppose to be !

Even the pink ranger, (forgot her real name), is disgusted that she actually was part of that show. I saw this show in VH1 and she admited Power Rangers was horribly produced.


I used to watch same old cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Pink Panther (I always wanted to see if that panther would ever talk, but never did O_O). But I was raised as a sports fan, so yeah, been watching Sportscenter since age 4 lol. But most of all, I always hated the power rangers. (Captain Planet was better than that show yet it was corny as well -_-).

I have different views on all of this......Yes, there are some shows that are meant for younger audiences, but in no way does that mean that older people can't watch them without being immature. Shows like Spongebob are more so for providing humor, not violence or stupidity. Sure spongebob isn't living in a dorm about to slap his neighbor sandy for beating him at the last challenge, as something like Inferno2 would have it, but it's not meant to be that way. Power Rangers is really considered child-like, but it can give you alot of advice on life, even if may appear dumb and pointless to others. I used to watch them too, but I still even today would turn to those channels every now and then. TV shows weren't meant to determine people's maturity level, and the word "mature" even has different meanings to other people. Someone may call someone mature if they don't laugh at silly things, others may say that when someone acts older than what they are. It all depends on the person in that case, and really everyone has different outlooks on that word. I'm not saying that anyone here is bad, just pointing out the fact that things may have bigger meanings than what they seem, it just takes a stronger mind to realize the importance of little things than others.

At the same time I got a 10 year old brother and a 8 year old sister who comes to my room and start chaos with the TV, game systems, dvd player, etc etc. I don't know why but they don't like watching TV anywhere else which is annoying. And they cause distractions with the cartoons they watch so I guess I can blame them as my reason on why my college GPA is only a 3.70 -_-.
