Air combos? - Tmy this is a question for you man

Air combos WILL be implemented someday, but it is way towards the bottom of his TO-DO list !
which means he will be finishing lots of things before air combos will ever be implemented !

well you can pull of a cheap 3 hit air combo..lol,just use ryus uppercut move in the corner.then when hes up do a superjump,and hit him with 3 high kicks while ur jumping up... ??? i do this often...and it works :laugh:

I tend to just make up my own combos, and they work quite well for me. In fact, I have found/created, a VERY DEADLY combo of my own.

I have done this combo during multiplayer games, so I know it is certainly possible to pull off. I have done anywhere between 30-58 hits with this.

1. When your oponent is in the air summon your helper, and just as the helper makes contact, perform a BBX.

2. When you reach the emd of the screen, perform a SECOND BBX WHILE THE HELPER IS STILL DAMAGING THE OPPONENT.

3. Finish off the combo with a tornado claw, using hard punch.

You MUST use wolverine for this combo, and you must have a projectile type helper, such as the hulk. You must also have a half a screen to be able to do this.

I am not sure on the damage, but it would be around 70% minimum damage to your opponent.

I have been playing marvel vs capcom and xmen vs street fighter The real game

and it is just so hard to play xmen vs street fighter when I jump in I casnt do my favorite combos
I cant knock my oponit into the air and beat him these combos I do arent just for show they are a part of my startagie

Then I go to play this and I see how much I cant do....

THERE ARE NO AIR COMBOs...
yes, some moves SEEMS to connect, but in fact...
an air combo is done when the first move is sucessfull and the opponent has to wait that you finish it before blocking again.
in this online game, the so called COMBOS that YOU ALL have been talking about aren't real combos as the opponent as time to start blocking between the moves !

that is way there are no AIR COMBO nor as there any COMBOs in this game as of now.
only LOOK-LIKE combo things can be done !

Well, I knew that we didn't have air combos, cause I've heard about them in the game, but you can't really do them, but I thought we at least had ground combos.

Anyways, what do combos in the real XvsSF classify as? compared to the ones in our online version?

this doesnt have any combos, with the exception of a super having like a 60 hit combo. Other then that u cant combo one move into another like in the real game. Air combos r a series of punch & kicks that occur when u launch someone into the air(which u cant do in this game).

it's defintely that, but it is kinda too short...

LONG VERSION...

COMBO = multiple hits that connect one after another, this makes you able to hit the opponent about 10 or even 20 times in a row without him being able to block or even defend himself !

AIR COMBO = same as above, except the combo start on ground and with a certain normal move the opponent get thrown in air and before he recovers you hyper jump to him and continued to hit him in the air.

GROUND COMBO = pretty much a normal combo, except it is not near 20 hit, because it is ground based and there is not much moves that can be done on ground.

as for the HIT metter in the corner which basically means you comboed into something. it is there but is not even REAL combos as while you are being comboed in, you can defend yourself in like blocking or SUPER JUMPING out of it. which it cannot be done in a real combo !

that's why i said there was no combo in this game. ok perhaps some SUPERS and SPECIAL combos but that cannot be included as SUPER or SPECIAL are something else !

....So the "combo" I've used for the past year with Chun-li is fake. hm... time to search for a non-fake way to pull off no-blockers.
