i fought some vips 2day
they used evil ryu and the raging demon i blocked and i got hit :(
i jumped and got hit ???

cant the raging demon be stopped :angryfire:
if it can enlighten me :alien:

u have about 1.5 seconds to send a move/projectile/helper @ the Evil Ryu b4 its "lights out" and u lose 60% of u'r health (unless u'r wolverine... its more like 35% for him) :biggrin:

i havent been playing for 2 weeks now and all of a sudden i come back and what! raging demon's been added its all over or non vips, the only thing i can do now is never challenge a vip again.

It can be stoped i just do supers all the time and when it hits 3 i fire fireballs over and voer and over (im getting dizzy) :laughlong:

Hmm seems that your forgeting one thing....there are no unbeatable characters or moves. ......Stupid me, what was I thinking, I forgot that most people are still afraid of spiderman and cyclops.

Can't wait to see how people freak out when other characters are released.

What's this I'm hearing? The Shun Goku Satsu is hard to get around?!?!!?!

Please tell me this isn't true, especially in this type of game!

Shun Goku Satsu is almost on par with hazan tenshou kyaku for the worst supers in the game!

Like TMyApp said, you've got 1.5 seconds to move away. The super doesn't even go long range! Only about half a distance....

Sure the damage is hefty, but whats good a move if you can't connect it? And to top that off, it's a level 3 super, if you use it, and you miss, say bye-bye to all 3 levels in your super bar.

Shun Goku Satsu is crap, it's easy to dodge, especially for characters like Wolverine, Spider man, Chunli, Cyclops and Ryu, Sent has some problems(but not anything major).

And like someone else said, you can hit it with a projectile, or even a punch, but I would rather just dodge, or super it.

Oh yeah, Shin Shoryuken is crap too. The damage is 33%, and it's a level one, but anti airs in this game are crap, unless your in the corner(using spider man, or Ryu). It's like wasting a super on purpose. If you miss, you can get nailed by a super.

His warping is okay, I noticed TMyApp that you modified the motion, so instead of the warp being a dragon punch motion(forward, down, down-forward), it's a fireball motion(down, forward). It's good for getting out of corners, even though it only goes half a distance.

I like his air fireball super, but there is a bit of lag when your using it, the game slows down(but not anything that would affect game play a lot).

Evil Ryu is fun to play, TMyApp, you did a splendid job!

well i guess im lucky!
i fought DA_VIPa on this week's WT
and he used his evil ryu on me
it was a closed game against my cyke
for a minute there, i thought i had a blackout or my PC couldve hanged...
speaking of projectiles...optic sweep is quite perfect

ok first thing first...

1 - you think E-RYU is hard to beat ?
wait and see the UPCOMMING that has strated while E-RYU was being done ! *can't say more*

2 - TarkanX : shun goku satsu cannot be avoided or dodged... it is a sure hit if the opponent didn't throw you a fireball in the head between the 1.5 seconds ! even if your at the peak of a SUPER JUMP and he's completely on the ground... it is still gonna hit and once its light out... 60% of your health is gone for good ! unless playing TAG ! so yeah... it is damn hard to defeat. you gotta send an helper at the right moment, or throw out a lot of fireball hoping to see that 3 SUPERS BARS gone !

3 - GEN = old man that is completely the RIVAL of AKUMA... GEN is the completely good char (IE against demons) and AKUMA is completely EVIL (IE a demon). GEN cannot be touched by Raging Demon (IE has no BAD DEED so RD doesn't kill him) (i mean see the SFA3 intro between the two) same for akuma... GEN super when disappear and reapear doesn't do much on AKUMA. GEN isn't sick ! his DAUGHTER is ! he searches a cure for her while defeating the demons of this world ! he's a mean bastard when it comes to DEFEATING EVIL !

4 - is it me, or has GEN been in SFA and DOA at the same time ? two completely different companies but the very same guy !

as TECMO bought the right to the character named GEN ?

to finish this, i must say three words since we got E-RYU...
SHIN SHORYU KEN !

ya we have the shin shoryuken, but its to short...and in the case of high lag it completely misees and wastes a power bar.
it should be ............30 hit minimum....u must have seen animations with him doing it... u

Gen is not Akuma's master, but it is true that he can block Akuma's raging demon. Just play the game SFA3 choose Akuma go threw the whole thing till u get to gen. It will show a special intro before they fight. Akuma rushes in with his raging demon. (Gen blocks) then Gen does his super (and Akuma blocks that). You guys think taking on 1 V.I.P was hard try 2. And they both got evil ryu and black spiderman. But I still won. Oh pip try thowing alot of missles going high in the air. You may counter their air super.

by defnition...
RIVALS = ENNEMIES
if it doesn't mean that, then where have the dictionnary changed what it meant ?

i just looked back at my previous post and i must say i made a big mistake...
its not his DAUGHTER but his GRAND-DAUGHTER who is actually sick !
it is also why he is the DOA tournament !

but really, why has 2 completely different company having the very same character ?

Ok Gen: Gen is Akuma's master, but akuma wanted to beat his own master, so he killed gen with the raging demon, and by him doing that move, he sealed his evil destiny and destroyed his own master gen...
