Why do people use this super in a fight? The only way it'll connect(not counting Sentinel) is if the player gets hit in the air, and someone does the super(which is 5% possible), or if the player is an idiot.

TarkanX, that's because about 99% people don't know that!
Against ##### who don't know how to block
And in desperation when you're at the end of your cord, and Spiderman just won't get hit by that Shinkuu Hadoken.

it is indeed a desperation move, which i have found use for on occasion, because of its massive damage, and if you get hit by it in the air, youre done for. And it helps that it does massive damage fairly quickly...
oh, and dark vegetto--you may want to check about getting that banner resized--its a tad large...

hmm ... yes...
i can't do that move unless i do a special move first (dragon punch/hurricane kick) and that always knock the opponent away or make them flinch..
i use to do it with hard kick and combo into it but it doesn't work anymore...
so.. i don't do it much anymore (or play)
u shouldn't use it unless ur winning by far (and that would change ur pace) but if it connects then ur chance of winning is high..

I always use it whenver there is an opponent right in front of me and I can super. If I use Shinkuu Hadouken, they'll teleport behind me somehow (lag, glitch, etc.) and combo the crap out of me.I think it's cool, too.

i got stuck in it about 1/3th of the time !
BLOCKING ?
how can you do that ?
i mean i get stuck in it, i block but when my character change side he gets hit by the rest of the super...
blocking RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT and on ?
no can do either, i mean the super change you side from side as fast as my computer can go.
and as far as i know, how can you know that the guy will do that super ?
i mean, with that much lag in the game, you can be kicking air then suddently BOOM, the opponent appear in front of you with the shinkuu tatsu in your face ! that's how it works for all super, LUCKY or NOT... when you do the super, even the shinkuu tatsu, you just hope you caught your opponent offguard !
which why i still use him cause 25% of my time in a fight, i actually caught the person with it !

hold down and away....you'll block the first hit, duck, and avoid all the other hits
and lag usually isnt THAT bad...you can usually tell when someones gonna do a super....it takes instincts...(though, these days, the emphasis is more on offensive skills and less about intuition, strategy, and defense)

I would do that special move if I gave my opponent a chance to win a round. :D At least make the whole match fun by having a tie breaker.

The thing is your not suppose to be able to duck under that move and get off without any damage isn't that right tmyapp :laughlong: .
Why?
Because in mvc 1, 2, mshvssf and xmvssf even if you duck under you still get hit by it.

Although I must admit about 60% of the time the player is smart enough to duck and mid punch but, I use it often and anyone from ##### to "vets" can get caught with it...if you dont think so try me.
I use it usually after the foward, foward, mid punch move ( which is a delayed punch) if an opponent is hit by the punch immediately followed by a shinkuu tetsu....more than likely there caught.
Then again I always enjoy catching ppl of gaurd when i have two or more supers. Most of the time when I release a shinku hadouken that is either blocked or hit's... my opponent will 75% of the time super jump towards me (knowing i have another super bar) and try to stop my next super with physical attacks....well if a shinku tetsu is performed immediately after the shinku hadouken the opponent jumping at me will more than likely get caught.
Now dont get me wrong I dont bank on these moves to win any battles for me but, if done right the shinku tetsu can be very affective.
I dont think it takes much skill to perform multiple shinku hadoukens as your main means of offense....i mean most of us can do that easily...it takes strategy to put the tetsu into affect...being an idoit has nothing to do with it....hehehe.

im kinda off a new comer but, i can relate to what u guys are saying. The shinkuu tatsumaki senpuu kyaku is a alright move and when u connnect thatmove, ur laughing urself silly because u know that the person u are fighting is trying hard to get out of the way, or block ur super. Plus, it is a good finisher move. I believe that the move has helped out in alot of fights :D
