Not to be a downer, but Wolverine X, your signature is out dated.
Its my highest Record, Selvin, just to let people know how far I have achieved in less than a month of playing. ;)

If you wanted the real deal, it'd be lefty, baller, then b00gie. blech.
good job. though i still want the old rank system back, i could pass you guys in like 10 fights, if not less.
How did the old rank system work?

How did the old rank system work?
your win/loss ratio measured rank, though i agree that defeating the #1 player, or any of the top 3 should boost more than normal, but you shouldnt get anything special unless your opponents in the top 3, and you win.
Sounds better than the current one........but if a newbie came in and fought a singe worse newbie he would have a win ratio of 100%. Wouldn't this be unfair to the rest of the players if he then decided to go change his name?

What about having both scoring modes at once?
Have two different hi-score lists. One of them using the old win/loss ratio scoring, the other using the points system. The catch with the win/loss system is that your rank will not appear on the list until you have participated in a set number of battles, fixing the problem that 2000warrior pointed out.

The high score system should be like the arcade one. Give out points for combos, not for wins.
But there is no combos ,currently, in this game, so there would be no point in putting up this scoreboard.
How does the arcade verison of the scoreboard work anyway? (I have never played street fighter in the arcade before. First time playing it on the net. My dad thinks it's a waste to play there). ;)

You can get combos... it is just really hard in high-ping battles.

By combos I mean attacks that do multi-hits like the Berseker Barrage and the Hurricane Kick.
