Late-Night Players - What?

Y'know, I've noticed something; there's kind of a lack of late-night players out there. As I'm writing this sentence, it's 2:20 AM EST, 2/20/02. I went to the normally-bustling Myst3k server, and who was I greeted with? [infinitybot]. I went back not 30 seconds later, and who was I greeted with? No one. C'mon, none of you SF addicts out there? Never had that 2 or 3 AM craving for some 2D fightin' game action? Right now, as I'm writing this sentence, it's only 11:24 PM in California! Is anybody out there? Hello, you insomniacs! Can you hear me? I know there's lotsa little'uns out there too young to stay up, but there must be someody! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm never more in the mood to play Street Fighter of any kind than late at night. C'mon, it's 2:28 already! I need to fight someone! All insanity aside, I'd really like to know if there's anyone else who stays up playing this thing, and not just on the weekends. I'm gonna go check to see if ANYBODY is on right now. Let's see... 2:30 AM? Perfect time to play.

I guess u don't know me.....i'm usually on untill 3am or so everyday pasific time and sometimes i don't even sleep cause i'm to busy either playing trivia or fighting...

Let's see... it's 3:03 AM now, and I actually got to fight a couple matches in the past half hour, but there still seems to be only four or five people on.

Then good for you, I salute you, fellow insomniac! Kudos! :) (Though a few people seem to have a problem with you, lately. However, since I haven't played you yet, I'm in no position to judge.)

strictly speaking for the server stats point of view, if you stay in the chan for no more than 2-5 minutes, you will see someone (10 min max :biggrin: )

the problem @ night is that people join the 1st chan... see that there is no one there, and start checking the rest... and seconds after they leave, someone joins, and does the EXACT same thing....

so.. next time you can't sleep... take my advice... just sith on Myst3k's and wait... someone WILL show up :biggrin:

hehehe i rarely play at night around 12:00am.

probably the only time i go on at night is on a saturday
