Why can't i connect?!

i have been trying to connect for so long and i can't i think it as something to do with the connection i was using modem but now i'm using the phone line

If you have a bad connection like me. Then i reccomend that you should just walk away. Trust me it will save a lot of time. I'm quiting the game till i get a good connection (Cable). Cause every time i verse someone after doing 15 supers or more and using heap of kicks and punches plus me having giga slowdown and lag(I mean that!) and the enemy is only half dead or barely hurt. I'm telling you don't go! But you don't have to...
