I've noticed that in the last few versions of the game, it is becoming harder and harder to control your character, especially in tag mode. But my main two gripes are the super jump not working, and the block failing.
My super jump works about 1/5 of the time that I actually try it, and it's starting to get annoying. There's nothing more aggravating than getting raped in the corner, and not being able to super jump to get the hell out of there. I've talked to other people, and they seem to have the same problem at times. If my problems are related to the jump lock, then I don't know why, because I don't super jump that often to begin with, and it doesn't say anything on the screen about it. Sometimes--no, most of the time I have to try to do it 4 or 5 times before it actually works.
The other thing that pisses me off is, while I'm sitting there jumping straight up and down like a dumbass trying to S. jump over a super that I know is coming any second, I'm getting pummeled with fireballs--which is fine, because I can just block them--then the super comes out, and I'm falling from a regular jump that should have been a super jump, clearly in the blocking position (Ryu's arm is over his head in defense), and I get blasted by the super, as though I never made any kind of effort to block. That's bull ####. I can't even tell you how many games I've lost just to these two problems alone.
What I've noticed is, when your opponent does a super, there's a split second right as it's coming out that your character goes into the neutral position (if you had been blocking, that is). Sometimes your character will go back into the blocking position before the super hits, sometimes it won't. I don't know why this happens, but what I do know is that it's very easy to lose a game simply because your controls didn't work.
