Questions to the Mods - system differances

Last night i had the unique pleasure of playing a far superior computer than my own...and of coarse what was the first thing i did?...thats right! i came straight here to test out the game and how it operated....and i was blown away! :shocked:here are the computer stats...

MY computer stats:
64 meg of ram
Celeron 500 processor
56k modem


MY FRIENDS computer stats:
128 meg of ram
Pentium 4 processor
56k modem


Now i saw a completely differant veiw of how this game operates...it was amazing....the game actualy ran so #### fast i thought i was on a cable modem...i had the oppertunity to play TarkanX in Turbo mode with me hosting....WHOLY SH!T!!! Fast!oh my god fast!...friggin got my ass whupped hard core....it was sickening.

Now on MY computer this games runs REALY SLOW...i cant block supers or nuthin'....when i play the game..i make sure the game is the only thing im running and nothing else (minus the nessesary ones)..
Tark says he runs a pretty nice computer...is this why he scores so well? And is this the reason so many others do to..According to the game requirement i have everything i need to run this game succesfully...and i do pretty well with minimum game play..but i saw some MAJOR differances here,,,it was like playing the arcade..litteraly...and lag was nuthing to even worry about..i dont know what Tark experienced on his end...but i fought Selvin,and others as well..with the same lighting quick results...Tarkan thinks i run,cable modem like he does...but i dont....My question is,

"What the #### is going on here?Why was it running so fast and expereincing things i had never seen before? Did all the people i fought,that had similar comptures experience the same game play as i did?What about the people i fought that had weaker computers,what did they experience?..and lately i have been playing with NO error controll and being very successfull.,why?.WoW im baffled !:shocked::confused:

(this realy put lag in a differant perspective for me..it's not 56k vs Cable...it's slow comp vs fast comp..That appears to make a differance....this game runs tight on a fast 56k computer!)

when i come on using my home computer, its an ok experience, but when i use the school's computer.......whoa, huge difference.

The school has awsome computers and everything runs fast and smoothly.

yeah Jr is right that computer in the school run smoothly
but my computer sucks cause the keyboard function slowly ....I almost broke my keyboard when I fight with the good fighters and my keyboard function very slow......I hate when this happen to me everytime....

that has to do with the shockwave engine...its VERY taxing on your system resources...

so if you have a crap box, then you could have problems seeying all the frames of animation (especially) in turbo mode.

but the normal mode, with the default window is designed to fix that problem. IF you had played the game like that their isn't anything you should have missed out on...

I think its more a case of you perceiving the grass is greener on the other side. Because in turbo mode on a fast computer things seem to run SOOO much faster...

but your not receiving info any faster, etc, etc, etc..

its all in your head...unless you multitask your system and drain its resources while your playing the game. THEN maybe I could see you having some major problems.

since the game in designed to be able to run on a cucumber :)

just played the game with my resource meter running.
With just the game,resource meter,windows... the base stuff,nothing more..it takes about 20% of my resources...that aint great...but that aint to shabby neither...how ever...i monitored my processor...and i was running full boar...it started at about 10% operating and spiked to 100% and stayed there when i fired up the game.
