Taunts - Which ownz?

Ok.. Since I started handling the screenshots for the new homepage of Street Fighter Online, I've got shots that showed action.. TMyApp liked this... but it's variety is the spice of life.. and in most things that we do, variety is needed.

One major way to add variety in a game like this.. well, let's just say, the taunts. No one can argue that they are a good spectacle of the game.. and with every new character TMyApp creates, he adds the taunts.

This poll is to find out what kinda taunt ownz.. and to see which one I'll consider adding to the screenshot's page. Now if you don't know how to perform a taunt, press the start button on your keyboard while fighting (default: no 1). And please make sure you're aware of the taunts before you vote on any of them.

In the real XMvsSF Chun-Li and Rouge's taunt takes off 1% of your health. I taunt my opponets like 50 times. :biggrin: While in SFA3 Akuma's taunt (while jumping over him) his taunt takes off about 5% of your health.

Not only that but their taunts knock you all the way to the other side of the screen, hard...even though it only takes off only 1%. =/

and my favorite is probably cyc|ops' second one, when he fires a beam straight up into the air, it's good for hitting people who keep trying to jump over you :)

I like Chunli's signature "Gomen Ne" more than I like anyone elses taunt. They give a funny explanation for it in Pocket Fighters. However, did you know that Ryu used to be missing a tooth whenever someone taunted? I am unsure if it is still happening now, but it was something I loved to laugh at. Old glitches are so great..

Nah, I doubt if TMyApp'll do someffin like that. We're trying to preserve the original thing here.. and probably add our spice here and there.. but I doubt if TMyApp'll make the other characters talk... They might like Akuma does when he wins... or Evil Ryu's baka... whatever.. lol :biggrin:

But I don't think any other character would have that comical drawing showing speech like Spidey does.. he basically ownz them all! :biggrin:

Spidey's taunts make him seem more loose and comical, and not serious and determine to win like Ryu. Now ryu needs to loosen up, I hate his personality completely. "Is there no one good enough to fight me?" "I need a real challedge" "I'm so good at fighting cause I'm Ryu" (ok he didn't say that, but that's pretty much him in a nutshell.)

heh.. True. But his taunt is a little comical.. especially when you consider the whole red and missing tooth.. *cougH* ok... That's just a glitch.. but his raising his arms up and saying ha! looks pretty cool when you look at it carefully.. :biggrin:

Well, I did create this topic without M. Bison and Ken in mind.. so that explains that :biggrin:

Anyway, if those are ur options and they aren't there, then feel free to post them. As far as I know.. Shin bison's taunt seems to own a lot.. I mean.. the whole "phaze" out thing TMyApp added brings a whole new dimension to SFO... but my choice would always be *looks at his avater* .. oh yeah :biggrin:

Just before the game, some of the characters say a few words.. and Scott is one of them. Just before he swipes his ruby thingy.. and the lazer blinks on it, he says, Come and get me.. wait wait.. oh God, I really should lay off that other stuff.. LOL

Yeah ppl.. TMyApp chose not to use that sample. So I guess we'll just go with Come and Get me
