Today I faced someone who said that he was 9, I know that everyone is able to play, but street fighter is rated "T" for teenagers, now isn't this kind of against the law for a "not yet a teenager" to play rated "T" games?

if ur mature enuff to handle certain things then theres no need for the law to be brought into it
#### i saw my first penthouse at 13 and even had a huge stack of them =)
not everyone can deal with that stuff but those who can i say more power to u

Three things:

One, this isn't the actual game, it's a 'copied' version that isn't the same. So by the law, this game has to be rated by the correct governing body and given an appropriate rating based on THIS game, not THAT one.

Secondly, the "Teen" rating only applies in North America. There are totally and completely different rating systems in other countries where the American Teen rating wouldn't mean shit.
Slap an Adults Only rating on it, and kids and teenagers (like me! :D) from countries other than the US are still perfectly fine to view/play it, because they are still in their own country, sitting in their own houses, where that AO rating wouldn't mean fuck-all.

Three: SF? Teen rating? Piss off! I've been playing SF since I was 7, for fucks sake. Bollocks to "Teens Only". ^_^

I agree with Dach. Just because you say that the Shin-Shoryuken should be in the game is no reason to go on every topic he's posted in to tell him to go away.

No problem xaio, I was 11 when I first played street fighter(1992, the games was street fighter 2 for super nintendo), that's below the age thing, but there weren't ESRB ratings back then.

I had Mortal Kombat 2 mastered at 8. I played my first games of Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat at 6. I guess i've always been a fighting game junky.

The thing to remember is, the ratings aren't law-bound. They are just there as a suggestion for people like parents who want to keep tabs on their children. As for the penthouse thing lordcyris, there is a law that says that children under 18 are not allowed to look at those types of things.
