A few of the faithful have noticed that our beloved community website seems to be "suspended"

So whats going on you may ask..

Well it seems as though our host provider "HostRocket" has taken it apon themselves to make annoying Zing and I they're number one priority.

What exactly has happened is that we just became, well too... popular? :D
It seems our site was causing a full 100% processor load on their servers, causing any other sites they were hosting to load REALLY slow, or not at all...

Now this was mostly due to our Ikonboard script, (heavily modified by myself I may add). The script itself is quite processor intensive, and their pansy little processors couldn't handle it.. lol

So what are the plans for Senshuketaikai.com?
Well.. we are currently researching other providers, and will be making a switch to a different server.
Expect this to take a week, or so.

Hang in with us guys, I will keep this topic here so you know the goings on of the site.

I appreciate all the emails of concern and the suggestions I have recieved.

We will be back, no worries.

Um.......quass one question.......when you do your server change will you still use ikonboards, and will the stats and posts.....and all that be lost? or will everything be there? like all the topics and stuff?

Well.. I did manage to export the database, and save everything...

But, like I said, the main problem was the use of ikonboard on our site.. sooo we may not be able to implement it again...

But thats to be seen.

As far as switching to another board (as I'm sure is on some of your minds) we were using a highly modified version 3.01 of ikonboard.

As of yet, I have not seen ONE converter for another board for iB3.01 (ie yabb, phpbb, etc..)
So this means.. if we DO change boards we lose everything.

Quass.....i think you should get a ubb........it's much faster in my opion. But yapp are known better in most anime sites. But still Ubb's are fast loading....

Im not a newbie at all KKS. BUT, you are right when tou say I can't live without random insanity. I joined here in januarybut I just think there is more to to talk about in senshuken instead of: The game isn't working, or how do you shoot "fireballs". Why do you think I am a nOOb?

Oh no fear in that.
We'll definately keep in touch with each other.
To make matters even worse...GeoCities will be performing scheduled maintenance starting Friday, May 17th, 2002 at 9:00 pm PST (GMT-7). Service will be restored the morning of Sunday, May 19th, 2002.

So what that means is....anyone with a free account through geocities will be shut down,between the scheduled dates i mentioned above.
So my sites gonna be down too.

No, scheduled maintenance would mean that the servers would be unhooked and checked over for problems and such. You WOULDN'T be able to view your pages, more likely than not.

That's all well & good if you need instructions for the arcade version, but several of the combos seem to be different in XMvsSF Online.
Also, have you ever tried to find a *consistant* list on GameFAQs? I found one that referred to 2 different things in (the same) 3 different ways... :confused:

yes the FAQ does lead you to a site that shows you several differant ways to do moves for Xmen Vs. Street Fighter....but NOT how to do moves in X-Men Vs. Street Fighter (online).....thats where Senshukentaikai.com comes in...We are attempting to have not only the moves posted...but ALL the information that you need to know about the game. AND give you alternate things to do while your visiting the xmvssf community.

Zing and Quass are diligently working to remedy this "suspention of services" B.S..
we'll be up and runnin' before you know it....hang tight guys. :)

Well BloodRedPunk...THIS forum is suppose to be a place for TMyApp to get feed back about the game...not be a "hang out spot".
Thats one of the ressons senshukentaikai.com was created....so ya'll could have a "hang out spot" and this forum could be used originaly for what it was intended for...feed back...and a place to find out directly from the game creator about whats goin' on with the game.

Well guys.. I guess I have some good news for you. :)

We are BACK!!! (sorta.. heh)

We don't quite have control over our actual domain name...
And that little change in appearance I mentioned didn't quite happen yet...
And there are still a few things that aren't working quite right..
Such as..

Some images not displaying correctly on the main page.
The "Save-Game" System isn't up yet.
The "Java-chat" is also not up, but just follow my IRC tutorial, and download mIRC, and meet us on DalNet on the channel #xmvssf
We lost some of our posts on the forum, but they are mostly all there.
The messenger seems to not be working properly as of yet..
I don't have my RPG app installed on the forum yet, and probably won't have it.

2000warrior runs 10 laps around his house. Upon returning he finds that aol has kicked him off for not touching it in 3 seconds. 2000warrior procceds to take a chainsaw, hops in his car, and follows the directions to the guy who invented aol's house...
