Lag help

OK, alot of people say i lag, some more thna others. Ppl even call me a #### when i win sayin i won with lag :-S (Legendofninja to quote just one). SO i thought rather than ppl just whining about it they might like to offer some help. Im on broadband mondem and have a 1.8 gig comp so i cant see that causing the lag. Plus ive now turned off music and backgrounds. Any futher help would be apreciated.

for the record tho..resta aint the one acting immature. resident seriously take it easy its not EVEN a game...its a forum ABOUT a game. i can understand arguing in game....but in a forum!!!? how can you even stay mad that long?? lol


Yo, and ABOUT the game. lag seems to be getting worse these days. its to the point now where in certain situations i gotta hit the keys like 5 times to even get the super off. i.e jumping over super hadoukens and raining down hellfire with akuma wont even work now for me because the controls are suspiciously unresponsive. now im losing matches just because the game cant keep up with my style of play. and i run on a cable modem. and i got a fairly new prasario. not even that. i go to visit my mom and i give it a try on her computer (which makes my comp look like a presario) and its the same shtuff. she got cable too. the thing is...if this game had a full production team working to make it function to its fullest potential. i would GLADLY pay like 5 or 10 bux a month to play.

Sorry i tend to be a bit longwinded in my speeches. but damn. to think tmy made a FUNCTIONAL version of this game head to toe on his own. i mean, poop. Capcom should make like the U.S government and hire your ass like they would a successful hacker. an officially licensed, fully polished version of this game would be like the hit of the century..especially on consoles. i dont see why they aint caught on yet. i mean damn, people on this forum are shooting ropey jets all over the bathroom tiles over a game that runs like a beta. that means somethin. serious money could be made if marve| decided to break bread. or capcom, or whatever...jesus if i ran their company.....i would have been on the motha####a years ago like marcellus wallace.

whew that was a mouthful. sorry...do i make sense? or am i saying stuff that has already been said?

you guys are arguing with a 12 or 13 year old spaz(resident evil) who still has to ask his mom if he can stay till 8 o'clock out at night. Ignore him.

Regarding your lag problem, it's been like this and it will stay like this. People who are complaining are just getting the extra hits that your high speed connection delivered to them, but they couldnt see it. So on their screen your doing supers or 10 hadokens in a half second which is normal. Here's something off topic....if we all had cable and i mean the ENTIRE community we would have alot better gameplay.

when people say you are lagging it actually them that lagging behind you, because if you are lagging it means your computer is behind their's and they can easily dodge by getting behind you and you will be hitting "air" but this is not true in every case, in most of them however.
when in some case some one computer send and recieve little data - that sucks. :angryfire:

....not really....., if your lagging it doesnt mean the player is behind u or vice versa in all cases, they could be any where on the screen, it could be a 1 second lag or upto a huge 5 second lag.

To prevent lag, I right click and close all of the programs in the bottom right of my comp screen. Just right click and exit anything you currently aren't using to make your computer run more efficiently.
