Fighting style - Whats yours (sfo)

Mine is all about smarts, the first round I always wana see how my oppt. fights and get a feel of his aura. I always try to get into the others fighting style then blend his/hers with mine. I always do presume the obvious and when you do that..you get into the fighters head. I just have really diverse fighting stlye thats it thats the Abdoun's Style....so whats yours?

ducking....that pretty much sums up my style.....cause you cant be hit by alot of punches and kicks if you duck them out

Well, when it comes to styles, mine are different depending on what character I use. So, I'll use ShadowLady. Since she is fast, I jump around alot, and using down+mk in the air can be used to combo into other moves. I also use her down+mk sweep to trip opponents and go into either more hits or back off to prepare for oncoming attacks. When I'm far away, I use a slow missle, and then do multiple spinning bird kicks so that a missle is following beside me while I spin. In a corner, I use rising kicks to juggle or cancel out what I think are supers about to happen. I also either save up super levels to do 3 different ones back to back, or team them up with other helpers. To sum it all up, I try to be quick on my feet, mix up attacks with close and long range, and use my supers wisely.

dude... if i were to really explain my fighting style..... it would take a whole freaking page..... but generally like hadokenman, i play as spidey (VIP :biggrin: ) though, but yeah i use the slow projectiles to combo up with other moves to creatate 5-6 hit combos with ease, and like him i also try to save my supers and do a variable or team it up with a helper... and my favorite is to throw a slow web ball in the air and have some ryu use do a super-hadouken and then right after hes starts it he always gets hit by my web ball.... ahh i love spidey.....

I guess mine is to use speed and jumps to my advantage to get close to the opponent...you know, attack them before they attack you.

gracefullness...i like to fight like i m dancing... like these pple in crouching tiger hidden dragon. kick them up in the air then jump and punch them sideway then triple jump to the other side and high kick. finsih with stmp when they have landed. while still dizzy from the stmp do sweep and super energy ball them. if they dodged the sweep, use super kick to pursue them.

I see where you're going with that, as many people go an the attack right at the start of a match. but the first time someone did that to me, i've been a little more defensive at the start.:laugh:

Mine is RUSH EM FROM THE START, AND BE CHEAP :) ROCKET PUNCH.ROCKET PUNCH...TO INFINITY. well actually i do hard kicks and stuff.

buT ANY IDEA IS TO FORMULATE A STRATEGY VS CERTAIN HELPERS AND CHARACTERS
for example: when i use sentinel vs.wolverine i use sentinel force(the missles) THEY COUNTER WOLVERINES SPECIALS.

VS> MOST CHARCTERS EXCEPT SENTINEL
THEY ATTACK U, YOU SWITCH SIDES< ATTACK THEM..
RANK 5 the speed GUY WHO USES SENTINEL BEAT ME THO, buT I SHALL AVENGE MY LOSS
HE BEAT ME 2 games, i won a round only against him, and only won by time. IT WAS SENTINEL VS SENTINEL. mmm. generating new sentinel strategy
**NOTE MY STRATEGY WORKS WITH EVEN worthless helper

anyhow have a bunch of moves for your BEST character
PLAN A: infinite rocket punches + launch specials
PLAN B: rocket punch+(sentinel force) missles wall
PLAN C: jumping medium kick hard kick
YOU SHOULD TRY TO LOCK THEM DOWN AND REDUCE THEIR HEALTH A LOT. you can do this by moves like...well tht rank 5 guy used sentinel beam and the sword, switched sides, and ya.
PLAN D: THE SLEEPER= duck and sentinel beam SDO
PLAN E: rocket punch &beam combo move
*try dashing
i would reccomend you guys do the same. rushing them from the start is a good way tho, coz usually they simply dont defend themselves from the start.

as for me definetly it depends on the character i use...i give thm a chance to attack but only at a certain limit (actually depends on how much life i have left)...thn u just give it your all!

A true fighter doesn't have any styles, he goes with the flows and adjusts depending on every seconds of the fight !

that is my style !
Change is good !
if my opponents jumps a lot then i counter jumping by throwing off some high attacks, then when he is forced to stay down, i swarm him with downwards attacks !
if my opponents vblocks alot i just throw him whatever i have without caring for i know he'll die by block damage.

if he ducks, then i duck kicks him (i seen wolverine fighting low level like that)
see, a true fighter adapts himself, he doesn't fight with a plan, he just go with the flow and catch every moments, trying to defend against whatever is coming his way.

that is the style the true fighters goes !
of course you cannot have the counter acts of every fliping moves that will be done, but that's why the helpers are there for !

EDIT:
btw, xsoul, try that strategi against me and you'll die for sure, the same way every other projectile fighters are done for against the masters !

Sentinel isn't just a tin can made for projectiles and staying away, it is best used in hand to hand combat with moves like the double punching, hard to avoid whirlwind kick and the almighty quadriple kick to the ground !

the only way out is going upward against sentinels like that.
and even there sent force high always makes them go back to the ground and if it dsoesn't work, super jump your way into their face and whirlwind kick them up to three times !

so don't even tell me that rocket punching is the only way out !
