hey, anyone have a cure for the comon lag? - is it just me, or is this game about lag?

Maybe im hallucinating, but it seems that the top players have a lot of lag... I wonder if people encourage lag... is there a way to combat this "bug"?
People, come on... if youre lagging, try not to take advantage of the situation... using Ryu with lag is completly unfair, as his super beam lasts forever if he gets hit.... the objecty of the game is not to have a high rank, but to have fun, and make friends.
please keep that in mind, people.
