I have some strategies:

HOW TO AVOID CONTINUOUS FIREBALLS THROW AT YOU

It's simple really, don't stand your ground and counter fireballs with fireballs, that will give your opponent a chance to use a super as a counter attack, which could really cost you the match. How to avoid that?

Stay as close to your opponent as possible.

Repeat this and get close enough to beat the living crap out of your opponent.
*And laugh at him.*

You can't realy have a stratagy, because every player has a diffrent approach! ;)

Very well put, Wind.

Ikaruga, to add to your Sentinel strategy, picking Sentinel vs. Sentinel would be one of the worst ideas. Those end up being the most bitter drawn out matches. The problem with mastering Sentinel is there isn't much to master so a kid who has been playing a week with Sentinel will stand toe to toe with someone who has played 2 months with the same robot. I would recommend picking wolver

In Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, you can do that spinning kick with Ryu or Ken (down, back + K) and it would pass over Guile's Sonic Boom... It doesn't do that in SFO.

When I was at the arcades, that was the move you had to do alot against Guile players when picking Ryu or Ken... Because all they would do was shoot Sonic Booms and if you jumped up to come down and kick them, they would pull of their Flash Kicks... so that tatsumaki senpuu kyaku was the move!

Don't let it happen again...

And as for a strategy... confidence is a big factor! And try to keep your finger's right against the keys at all times! Don't be one of those players who hits L (3K) and all his other fingers go flying in the air off the J & K!

Your kidding, right? Well... if you don't have a sense of humor, go to PAGE 1...

Well, another strategy has occurred to me..

When playing with fast characters always try to get behind the opponent. You'll get there before the lag catches up and next thing your know your opponented will waste his specials shooting in the wrong direction.

the only thing you ever need as a strag. would be skill, and smarts on basic things, just train hard and find out what mistakes your doing, and fix them, that should get you in the top 10 best players(not rank as top scores)

Some tips couldn't hurt along the way to speed up the process of being the best. Being good all starts before you play the game by fixing your setting and turning off dashing....

Your right, rave, but we have to work with what we've got. Become one with the lag. :alien:
