Ryu strategies? - Give me some help.....

I have started playing this game again and I beat I think only one person but I keep getting beaten by Wolverine users because BBX takes a lot of damage off even when blocking. I also use Wolverine but not in this game because of the lag. This is only for professional Ryu users. I just need some advice to beat Wolverine users with Ryu, and don't tell me to do Hadokens repeadely some thing diffrent. So if you think you can help me out. Give me some stragies. Also if you want you could post on how to beat other players like Cyclops but thats only an option. Also take note I didn't know where to put this so I put it here. If a mod is going to move it please do so.

whenevr he does bb stop it with a hadoken then jump in with a flying kick then do a hurricane kick which should be done while there rapped in the corner. While there in the air do some shorukens and repeat the process a couple of times if u wanna do a super do shin shoruken or his special hurricane kick

I use Ryu a few times when I play, and whenever I come up against a wolve user I tend to move around and jump over him. Throw in kick when I jump tword him then I super jump out the way. The more you move around him the more lag you cuase on his screen. So keep moving around him, and then go to the other side and throw hadokens. Ounce your levels are up blow him away. But that just works for me, you gotta try things out and see what works for you. Remeber he cant shoot anything at you so you can easly move away from him.

When i use RYU i basically do three moves in a row...

1.punch,punch, kick
2.uppercut, uppercut
3.to finish him of i do a spiniing kick :buttrock:

well i guess those 3 already covered wolverine so ill tell you how i beat cyclops. Cyclops only real move is optic blast so what i do is basically get to his corner by jump blocking. This might be pretty hard to do at first (especially if your not use to the buttons), but when you finally get it beating cyclops is very easy. When you get to his side basically hit him with all the moves you got as fast as you can (try not to do the same move over and over again or else it'll be cheap). He might get one or two blasts in there, but it wont do much damage. Oh and if you want to do a special in the corner be sure to do a down + high kick than suddenly do a special it's sure to hit him. Oh and one way of avoiding damage on your self while the Drill Claw X is if you block and continuously jump back. I figured this out a little while ago when i was playing a wolverine player. The first time i did it it was by accident but i was pretty amazed. Than i tried it 2 more times and it worked. Even though your blocking this could still help allot since the drill claw x takes off WAY to much damage! well hope i helped. (sorry for my extremely bad spelling and punctuation)


EDIT: try and get used to keeping a finger on the back button This way your able to block almost anything.

Ryu agaist Wolverine is pretty simple, Wolverine is all about close range, so hadoken is his Number one weakness, other than Shinku Hadoken. Against Cyclops I like to get in close, so I jump forward and block (so he doesn't get you with the annoying Optic Sweep). Once you are close, you can juggle him with Hurrican kick or continuously uppercut and Shoryuken. Of course, use super moves when your meter is full!
