I can name you 2 who nearly killed him and one who give him the worst ten minutes of his life.
Sabertooth and the Sentinel Nimrod have almost killed Wolverine and numerous occasions.
MAGNETO has freakin' riped Wolverine's metal skeleton out of his body. (MY SPLEEN.)

like u said they NEARLY killed him but they didnt succeed and wolverine can regenerate so he will get back to full helth pretty quickly.

Fireballs, teleportation, raging demon ( beating the other guy tihsless 15 times before he hits the ground), evilness, whats there not to love about him?

Play Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. If you teleport in that game and someone does a super, you stop teleporting. Also is someone is on the ground the Raging Demon wouldn't hit you and someone can do a reversal with a tasty super.
