[ mon, feb7 - sfo top-scores corruption ] - Official info on why the scores "reset"

sorry .. my bad... dropped the ball in this one

the topscores have corrupted this morning at around 9am, and when they did, all scores were lost/reset

now, that by itself is not a huge thing.. the scores are backed up something like every 15 minutes... except, i didn't hear about all this until right now (ie: 12 hours later)

... what can i tell ya... these things happen...

a backup has been restored, but the scores for the last 12 hours are lost (and we are back to where we were at 9am)

if this sort of thing happens in the future, please always remember:

1: the scores would NEVER reset unless a new game character was added

2: if they were to reset, a post/notice would have been made in the loading screen of the game

3: at the end of the day, SFO is just one person: me ... so, when "stuff goes wrong", flood me with emails: info@streetfighteronline.com (put something in the subject to catch my eye, like: "TMy, scores are screwed, HELP !!" )

LOL thank god my losses earlier didn't count. =) I had trouble losing alot of sync in the middle of the game. Now I am on backup computer number 3. This one has a better system. And my fps is higher on this one. =) So yay! Hope the scores screw up again when my comp flips up. =)

I am sorry for the rank 1-10 (I was one of them) They played like up to 35 games for nothing. its not going to affect the game. lol

Then right when i saw the scores back. I was like its a big waste of my time. lol :p . I could have been doing to homework(which im doing now) :confused:
