About new feature section - Do you care about it?

this thread is addressed to tmyapp/mods of this game

heres the scenario...
a member (bcoz he wants to share his input to the game) gives his suggestions, either he gets flamed or his suggestions gets ignored

do you guys even care? (tmy/mods)
i mean i just noticed,often times a suggestion gets the most response from a co-member like himself when in fact [u:post_uid8]it should get the attention of tmy or the mods[/u:post_uid8], i mean its not that bad (please dont get me wrong) to have other ppls opinion on it but i noticed you guys rarely reply on these ideas, most of the time you dont... :plain:

The New Features section has 2 purposess:

1. For TMyApp to announce and discuss the new features he himself realeases.

2. For ppl(like youself) to share ideas and your thoughts on new things for the game. The threads made my regular members, are suppose to be talked about, and discussed...by regular members. The mods don't have to look at them. The only way, I think, the mods/tmy would look at it is if enough ppl wanted it, and it became widely talked about.

(I hope this thread wasn't made b/c you didn't get the kind of response you wanted to your "monthly tournament" thread)

Ok first off.
Alot of people think the Admins/Mods dont do crap on this forum. Or dont listen to ideas and thoughts.

This is total and utter BS!

I can not even begin to mention the infinite power our words hold with the Admins and Mods of XvsSF.

So many features that have either been installed, or tweeked to our liking.....We bitch that Spidy is too stong...TMy fixs it. We bitch saying "such and such a bug is occuring!"...TMy does his best to fix it...We bitch and say.."I dont like the way this move works!"...TMy fixs it. We say "I want such and such a feature!"...TMy eventualy finds the time to put it in.

BloodPack: I got no beef with ya.....but...TMy Lefty Zing Quass...all have lives...and all ballance multipule projects at one time...With projects that "Need to be done" having the highest priority and focusing most of their attention.

But no man is a rock and stay stead fast to just one project and see it to its completetion,with out tiring of it and then turning their attention away from it for a while to take a break, or to focus on another "need to be done" aspect of feature of their ultimate goal.

IE: Good ideas are written down, and will be focused on AFTER the "need to be dones." the "main projects of attention" the "Im gonna work on this side project for my self." or "Damn...I need a break."

Our "good" ideas, and suggestions will be installed...

And from the last year or so of watching how TMy works....He aint gonna tell you straight out if he's going to use your ideas or not......they seem to "just happen."

there are other ppl who made inputs but most of the time get ignored

The New Features section was created for members to share and discuss their ideas with other MEMBERS.

To get down right technical, the mods/admins aren't really members. They are to a certain extent. But they're obviously more mod/admin then regular member.

Like I said before, if an idea is talked about enough, and get's really popular, then I bet they'll take a look at that thread. IE tmy see's a topic that has about 5 or 6 pages on it, then see's a topic near the bottom of the page, with 2 or 3 posts. Now, which one do you think he'll spend his time looking at? :biggrin:

i didnt realize they based their "approval" by counting the number of replies this "suggesstion" has

what if the only reason why this "suggestion" has so many pages bcoz its loaded with flamings ?!

That is one of the reasons. But not nearly the only one.

I didn't say I was right. But now a days, you could read the topic title, and realize by reading the thread, you'd be wasing your time. Notice how I post in the new features section(save the ones tmy makes) about once a month?

Well obviously they'd see the topic, go in it, see the flamming, lock the topic, then leaves :biggrin:

u know.. i'm really getting tired of these bs/bitching threads...

.. could it be that between now and 1.5 years ago.... one of the other 250k users POSTED the same idea ?? .. or perphaps the idea has been posted MORE than once to the point where EVERYONE but a few n00b 's knows what i think about it ??

if i don't respond to a thread it means 2 things:

1: the "idea" makes no sence... i have no time to put a 2 page reply telling "why" exactly... (@ that point i ignore the thread and hope that one of the vets/mods/vip's will answer it)

2: its been posted... answered... bitched about... 100 times over b4

and here... let me give you an example *pulls up the new features section* ... lets take a look @ these topics:

"The practise mode...": it really makes little sence for me to spend dozens of hours putting in moves that you can ONLY use against the AI.. instead, i can work on new/better features for the game and/or fix more bugs...

"Web slinging": answered in the "Spider-Man pre-release info" as well as a few other threads that talked about "why Spider-Man is missing some moves"

"Suggestions..": 90% old ideas that were either addressed or answerd b4 (not all are bad.. and SOME are already on the "to do" list)

"Ryu is to slow": ... do i even need to comment on this thread ?? (and a million like it)

"A way to tone down cyclopss' special moves": both aswered and addressed b4 in lots of other threads...

"Another idea": again... some people h8te the variable attack.. it has been twaked a million times over and 100 other threads like this one have been started and answered in the past...

"I really hope": i dont even knwo why i didn't lock this one already :biggrin:

"Timed servers": doesn't make too much sence... people like the in-game chat (and its "evil green text")... why ?? no idea... but i've already spent MONTHS making the "new chat" system for the 4 player mode which should have fixed the problem... why it didn't ?? ... the only reason i can come up with is that people are scred of "hosting" games...

"The solution for spidey's super assault": nooo.. the "soulution" to his "assult" is tweaking Spider-Man, and fixing bugs with his moves (which is what i already said will happen in the next game release)

there u have it... i can go on 4 ever here... but every thread has been read by me prob the same day it was created... but it would take me hours to try and explain/answer them all... (putting a simple "this idea was posted b4" will NOT work, since i'll get 20 more people asking "and what was your answer ??")

.. if one of the vets/mods/vip's can please save a link to this thread for the future... and post it as a reply to the similar threads (when they appear again months from now)... that would be great... if not... well... :biggrin:
