What are the exact guide lines to selecting your helper in the game?

i plan to put this info on my helpers page.THX

alright.. this is a GREAT question... (it was asked many times b4, but, i was too lazy/busy to answer)

this is how it works RIGHT NOW

if u'r player1 (host, ie: the guy who CHALLENGES the otehr person) move u'r cursor to the character u want to use (with a keyboard, lets just forget about the mouse... mouse+picking helper = pure luck) ... then, hold down and CONTINUE holding down the keys for u'r helper untill u see the helper (or a dif helper) pop up... (u can stop holding @ that point)

player2 (the guy who gets challenged, and who picks the game speed)... same thing (kinda') move the cursor (with the keyboard, via the LEFT, RIGHT keys u assigned) ... then hold down the keys for the helper UNTIL u'r character is selected (no need to KEEP holding till u see the helper)... when the TURBO/NORMAL box pops up, select u'r mode (via keyboard or the mouse) and u'r done :) .. (again, no need to keep holding those keys)...

that is how it is now.. THIS is how it will be as of next version (ie: b4/after this weekend)

player2 stays the same, but, player1 will now be able to choose the helper in the same way as player2.. this means, there will be NO NEED to keep holding the keys after the character is selected (just hold up till u hear the announcer say "Ryu" or "Wolverine")

i would like to note that ....when i select my helper,I click my fighter and then immeditaly hold the helper keys..when im player 1,this "usualy" works for me....(maybe im just realy lucky :biggrin: )..but from here on out im doing it your way :biggrin:
