Charlie & Guile - Un-Official Discussion

Okay, I am just opening up something where you can talk about anything and everything about Charlie & Guile.

Guile doesnt have the age in SFA3 like he used to in SF2.


Capcom made Guile suck on purpose in Alpha 3....


Charlie has 20/20 vision.

Guild, Charlie, Shadow, and Remy are all basically the same thing as far as I'm concerned.

TarkanX: I have actually have used a SF theory to prove that Charlie came to the SF universe before Guile. Now even though Guile debuted in SF2 and Guile debuted in SFA2 and SFA2 was released after SF2, we all know that Alpha means first, that is the first proof. The second proof is that Guile was a secret character in SFA3 meaning he came after. Now to clear things up I believe there was only 3 SF tourny's, but 1 of them was wrigged. Street Fighter was the first tourny and the Alpha series was made to fill in caps. Street Fighter 2 was made making it the second tournament. Street Fighter 3 was the third, but second impact and 3rd strike were made to also fill some caps. Now I believe that SF3 was wrigged for many reasons. The first is pretty confusing even for me. I have asked many, 'Who is the host of SF3', no one can answer. They told be second impact and 3rd strike, but not the first. The second thing that makes me think it is wrigged the fact that Alex is the SF champ and Ken is the US champ. Now Street Fighter in a world tournament. Now Alex is born in the US so how did Ken beat him in the US division, but not face Ryu in the finals. The third thing is Yun, why is a crime lord. Forth was Urien, Gill, Twelve, and Necro. Gill and Urien hated each other and made Twelve and Necro which in my opinion dis-qualifies them. Now SFA1, SFA2, SFA3 were made to show some matches that didn't happen in SF1. An example is this: Guile was secret in SFA3. I believe that the only way someone is secret is if they were eliminated in the qualifies or they were DQed. Charlie defeated Guile in the qualifies and therefore is a scret. Evil Ryu was DQed, because he killed people. Sorry for the long post, but it is a good read.

Warmor: I disagree with you, because Guile has possibly the weirdest block in the game, at least the other 2 look normal and also, Remy's attack differ from there's, because Remy's Special Attack with the Kick (Forgot name), goes 180 degrees up while Charlie and Guile have a 45 degree angle.

That was a pretty good read, I do know and believe in the SF world that Charlie came first, but in the Real world Guile was shown first.

What I mean, I'm not technical, all 3 have sonic booms (or in remy's case it looks like it) and a flash kick attack, thus, they are basically the same type of fighter. Remy even has that double low hard kick I love :)

you know guys, i never actually seen what charlie looks like before, but i've seen guile. i've watched episodes of super streetfighter 2v and in the series, charlie is killed by Bison. He wears glasses and has a dark coloured hair, is this true?

is only one tournament, that tournament is second impact, new generation is over ridden by second impact, and third strike is like what happened after the tournament

Urien was the one who made twelve and Necro, not Gill, Gill wants to save the worrld, Urien is evil.

A1 doesnt count, its overridden by A2, so everything that was in A1 is not existence

the alpha series isnt a tournament, A2 is basically them going their own ways trying to find fighters

Alpha 3 is "some" people trying to stop Bison, or again like A2, them going their own ways.

Okay, the reason why Alpha isnt a tournament is because since A1 is overridden by alpha 2, alpha 2 is just the characters going their own way, and A3 is trying to stop Bison, there are only 3 SF tournaments as of right now

TOO MUCH TO READ! AAAHHH! But all very good points, though. Gill is just too cheap in SFIII: 3rd Strike, because if you K.O. him when he has a full super meter he revives himself. AAAAHHHH!!!

Where's Dan, anyways? I would think Dan would want to show how strong his Saikyo-Ryu style is to his students, so why is he no longer fighting in the games? This fact disturbs me... is he dead? That'd be the only way to truly shut Dan up, anyways.

Dan Hibiki: Gill isn't cheap, but very challenging. To stop him from resurrecting, either kill him before he reaches level 1 or just do something stupid and make him use that Metor Shower super art or that Angel super. (If you don't know wthat I mean by the angel attack, be happy, you never, and I mean NEVER want to try to parry it) Dan was supposed to be in SF3, but their was one spot left and it was between Chun Li and Dan.

Ken and Alex never fought, in the SF3 tournament, Ken shouldve lost to Ryu, or Oro, its likely Oro, since Ryu didnt face Ken in the SF3 tournament, and Oro was the only one aside from Gill that was stronger than Ken(oh and Ryu is stronger thahn Ken, barely).

And also, if you time it right, you can hit Gill when he starts to get his life back and interupt it, and if you hit him right when he starts you can kill him with one more hit.

StevenTheBol: I dunno. I don't think one is cooler then the other. They are both very serious, but Charlie does where his glasses only for style so I guess he would be cooler. Gill is the boss in Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future.

M. Bison can't resurrect himself after he gets his ass kicked to the ground, while Gill can. Gill can also take off over half your life easily with any of his attacking super moves.

Video games.com is dumb on storylines, and bio's, I know Gills bio straight off.... and steven, hes stronger than M. Bison, but I don't know about Shin Bison.
