Toc - I don't belive all the hype

Why is eveyone trippin over this TOC thing so much. I don't mean to bad mouth Zing or anyone Involved in making this tournament but do you really think this is gonna be fair lol. I mean come on with all the lag in this game now do you really think this TOC is gonna be like the first TOC's and produce a proper deserving winner. I don't wanna sound like a hater or anything but come on people let's be real about this. You know that everyone is just gonna either choose spiderman or cyclops and be as cheap as they possibly can in order to win. Hell i won't be surpise if a flipen n0.0B win's this tournament lol, but In all seriousness now you all know that this TOC isn't gonna produce a proper and deserving winner with the addition of the new character's like spiderman and cyclops who can' easily use there cheapness to win any match. I mean come on people this TOC isn't all it's cracked up to be.
We all know that some [b:post_uid6]Spidern00B[/b:post_uid6] is gonna claim the prize so why don't you people get a hold of yourselves I stop Trippin of the TOC thing. I know some of you are gonna flame me but just think about it for sec you know what I'm saying is right you know it.

Yeah but the advantage level a good spiderman and cyclops player has over a ryu use like me is completly ridiculous and don't forget those VIP sidey users..

Let's make this perfectly clear right off that bat.

Tournaments by their very nature are about competetion, and winning. If you're not winning in a tournament, it's probably not very fun. So saying that, (and I hate to put it this bluntly), but if everyone wants to pick spiderman because they can win with him, then thats the way its gotta be. If you're just looking to have "fun" (and by your definition that means playing with Ryu), then you can do that anytime you want -- just log into the game to do that. Tournaments are about winning by any means necessary.

As far as your belief that Ryu is a good enough character in the capcom vs snk 2 world, just visit www.shoryuken.com, and you'll learn REAL quick that your boy can and DOES get his arse handed to him by any of the 3 people I mentioned. The competitive advantage those 3 people have over Ryu is ridiculous (sorry if I've broken any dreams you have about Ryu).

There have been, and there always will be top tier characters in these games -- tis life.

the rest of spiderman is the same as the normal one !

as for TIERS, i doubt its existence as long as characters cannot be perfect all the way and even if BEST against BEST player plays together. there are a lot of OUTSIDE factors that always comes into play. don't know if you know it, but FEELINGS and EMOTIONS are a lot factors in themself to make even the best fighter in one specific characters to make a mistake that cost him his win !

all characters have their weakness and strong point !
best against best, i say its a draw, not a top tiers. if any of them lose, that's because he made mstakes, not because his character was weaker, cause all characters are good !

one exception would be SERVBOT in MvsC2 but even him can be a pain in the ass to beat when in my hand !

as for the tournament !
now why are you talking about TOC being a sucess and this one being a total failure cause of lag ?

example:
ryu vs ryu in the first times i ever played !
both fighter were teleporting on screen it seemed like a random apparition more then anything. i couldn't even land a single punch. it was so depressing to see that most of the people at that time didn't even play the games and were just talking on the forum !

updates by updates, i actually saw my computer getting better and better performance !
lets say even LAG reduced to a minimum on my machine and i got a damn 33,6 phone modem that cannot even connect over 31,2. and believe me, the game is now much more playable then it was a year ago !

what you are just saying is that TMYAPP worked for an entire year for nothing ?
just because YOU saw a big loss in YOUR performance !

even TMYAPP who probably plays on the worst machine ever, can tell you this game as become the better and better by the updates !

now, onto YOUR ryu facts...
are you saying you will play against me by fighting in a close range fight ?
if so then i will enjoy crushing you in close range fights with SPIDEY !
but here is a fact...
almost all RYU users are going for the HADOKEN like hell style of play !
are demiying this fact ?
if so then let me introduce you to some of the BEST players that won about almost all the tournys with this RYU you're talking about. they will tell you how their win was only good by CHEAPING like hell with him !

i doubt you will not do an hadoken every seconds with ryu, the fact is... i'm sure you actually play CHEAP and was always playing that way. that's what HADOKENing like hell is called !

you want some statisque from my point of view ?
here are some of the matches i played !

me always SPIDEY, until i lose !
all my RYU users at the exception of some, all losed to me !
why ? they all used the hadoken like hell cause that's the only that kills spidey they all say ! wrong ! some of the users actually standed on the floor blocking my web balls and going for head of my spidey. they AIR-FIGHTED against me and they actually won the fight easily !

but all those that used ryu and used only his hadokens almost all lost to me !
now, you're complaining because your cheap tactics with ryu don't work anymore, and you know you will lose cause of this ! that's why you're complaining !

i agree with ZING on this...
its the players who use the chars, not the contrary. you got a problem against spidey and cyclops, deal with it and find another route to beating them, cause they aren't invincible and cyclops users even if cheap, are easily beaten by any RYU users that actually know how to play without HADOKENS !

Well there you have it hadoken king. I haven't played this game very much lately, so I wasn't going to state for a fact that Spiderman, and Cyclops weren't untouchable.

But then SSJKarma came along and did that for me.

OMG Scorponok -- you are kidding right??

Ryu isn't even in the same league as Blanka -- I HATE Blanka with a passion and never use him, but he can EASILY destroy Ryu.

I know you're going off your personal experiences -- but don't do that!

Xbox live is out; Try to find yourself someone with a D rank or better on that game. If they pick Blanka, you could pick a team of Ryu, Evil Ryu, and even use the select the same character glitch to pick another Ryu, and Blanka would take them all out before you ever saw your opponents next guy.

And god forbid you should find and SS ranked guy on there who uses Blanka. I'm by no means a slouch in CvsSNK2, and I've fought SS ranked guys who use Blanka, and I kid you not when I say I didn't take a splinter of health of their Blanka before he'd beaten my 3 guys.

seriously, have you ever heard the fact that its just a ####### game which people for the fun... i have never saw anyone playing like it was there lives !so much things happens on a person, that actually makes him lose when in fact he was suppose to win. things like the feeling the person have when he plays, the problems he has before he plays also effects his gameplay and strategies, heck even the opponent looks affect the players !

now saying "the best player against the best player make that character win"
big news guys, THE BEST OF THE BEST will never exist because its in the human gene to actually get better and better !
which means, the BEST PLAYER will eventually not be the best for all time regardless of the character he choose !

no, the balanced the game but someone found a way to be cheap, then deal with it... it still doesn't mean he is the BEST player and even servbot in MvsC2 can kick MAGNETO'S or CABLE'S ass !
