View Full Version : I was wonderin how do u gain rank in the forum? - Administrators can u plz explain this to me?

Earlier on i was commenting on a certain topic in one of the new features threads

I noticed that some of the commentors had red orbs near there name and that they had a title that said newbie and so on

While i was editing my comment i noticed that my rank was newbie
I wasn't confused at first b/c i knew since i just joined i was a newbie to the forum
But then it got me thinking how do u gain rank here?

So i was just wondering how do u?
I hope that someone will explain this stuff to a newbie like me

Yeah for all of TMy's rules check it at the main forum page it hasn't been updated in ages but it's kinda helpful.

Well, you start by posting lots of trivial messages... maybe the occaisional "I'm Back" post, even if you haven't been back. Then, if someone posts something that you can possibly tag an answer to, you do that... even if its a "............." comment!

Pretty much, the more you post, the higher you grow. Unless you flood, whatever that means...

Only the Administraters are in Red (TMyApp and leftyfb).

And

Only the Moderaters are in Blue (Lordcyris, Ewalk and Zing79).

You will have to stick with BLACK until you can become one of those... and I dont think you/we can...

And for that "Newbie" thing, it changes by the amount of posts you've made....

-50 = Newbie (One Red Dot)
+50 = Junior Member (Two red Dots)
+100 = Member (Three Red Dots)
+150 = Full Member (Four Red Dots)
and then...
+500 = Advanced Member (Five red Dots).
