ok.. so ... the brand new server I built and put the new forum on decided to take a nosedive this weekend. Something about the new ultra-stable linux filesystem called ext3. I know not to use that anymore. So the forum has been moved back onto good ol reliable wargames for the time being till I can rebuild the new server (with ext2) and move it back over. The database might have gotten corrupted even before my backup so let us know if there's still problems with it. I think I got all the avatars moved over and i'll be keeping the smileys down to the default for the time being till the forum is on a server robust enough to handle the bells and whistles. This server will move much slower than the other. Mind you it's only a 150mhz. The new server is 1.7Ghz. So please bear with us till it's all fixed.
Sorry for the downtime peeps.

The forum glitch TarkanX mentioned in "Bugs and Problems" still remains.

Ok, like I said. THe database got corrupted even before I made my backup so there's really nothing I can do about the few (hopefully thats all) crosslinked topics. If the topics are that important, try doing a search for a word or phrase in the content of one of the posts in the topic, then try going to it from there. If that doesn't work, let me know, i'll close the crosslinked topic and you will just have to start a new one.
one thing too say,HOLE not the player but a HOLE you know what i mean. ;)

Hmm.....that would explain why some of the poast I'd made never showd up the next day. But would that mean any unaswered PM's would have been deleted too?

PM's did not get carried over to the old server. THey don't get saved in the database which is the only thing that got backed up. I wasn't able to retrieve other file directories which would include PM history.
