Spiral, the helper - Suggestions for spiral

grrr I need some suggestions and tips for when you get the helper, Spiral. I depend on helpers sometimes and I suck when I get spiral cuz I don't know how to use her all that wel. I lost a match that I know I could've won if I had another helper today. So anyway, any suggestions and tips on how to use her would be appreciated! thanx :corky:

Spiral is used to get out of tight places..example-someone has you pinned to the wall and wont let you move. Just use spiral and it teleports you to the other side of the screen. It also helps when someone is about to peform a super. Teleport over to your opponent and hit them before they are able to perform it. Hope this helps. :biggrin:

Spiral sucks. If you get her, you're pretty much screwed, man. :colgate: My advice is (and I've learned this from the n00b-killers), make it a point to host every single game, that way you can pick Psylocke every time, while your opponent (hopefully) gets stuck with Spiral's dumb ass. For some reason Player 2 can't (or at least very rarely) choose his/her helper, but Player 1 can.

Another thing you can do to help ensure victory (and this one goes out to "Hulk-Mad;" thank you for sharing your infinite knowledge in the fine art of cheapness with me) is to host a game, then as soon as two people join, force them into a 2 on 1 (where you are the 1 of course) before they can leave, keep the timer on, pick dual-Cyclops's, choose Psylocke as your helper, then do nothing but low optic blasts and/or optic sweeps the whole round. Next, once you have a few super meters built up, send out a Psylocke or two and let them have it with a variable attack. Make sure you do super after super after super. With any luck, you'll kill at least one of your opponents with chip damage alone. :colgate:

but spiral does not sux, u can now use her 9 times..
and u can use her while ur about to land in the opposite direction of ur opponent when they have their super meter build up, so u would be behind them and they do a super, u do some damaging :happy:
also use her when u get hit by a helper esp. dr doom..

not really she is okay u dont know how to use her see she is like a tricky person just look you are ryu and your enemy is on the other side what u do is call her out and and right when u do it u do a super huricane kick u should be in the positon for it then u teleport in fron or behind the person and surprise them with the move,works good with other fighters best with chun li and is a good way to get right on the person and start a crossover :sly:

i know she not all that but u shold not call her when u are about to get hit with a super u should block jump or even tag

yeah she is very helpful if you use her at the right times :D

she is more of an attacker cause that's where you can surprise your opponent !

like i have sentinel and i summon her then i do my plasma storm and BOOM she teleport you right in front of the opponent even with lag that works great !

but then again, her teleport works depending your actual position.
here they are...
let's say the stage goes like this...

Starting position <---------> ending position

lower-left <---------> lower-right corner
Center-left <---------> Center-right
Upper-left <---------> Upper-right
Middle-down <---------> Middle-up
Center <---------> Random

it is when you are exactly in those position, but the way it works is depending on your actual position so this won't be exactly where you'll end. meaning you won't necessarely end in the position you wanted !

example:
you're in the middle of Lower-left and middle-down, then you'll
end in the middle of CENTER and CENTER-RIGHT. now i think
you get my point. so now it is up to you to figure out her
most usefull time !

but, dont' worry... just give it time... u can't image the plans i have for Spiral :biggrin:

:D spiral is a very good helper for me.i use her when my opponet does a super or he/she does a combo you cant get out of. I also use her for combos of my own.
Example:
youre opponet is ryu and he keeps on doing hadoken i use spiral to get near him/her and away from the hadoken and do a attack like shyroken or a special or the spining kick one(not special. :)

Toon-If your on the other side of the screen and someone does a super then spiral just teleports you in front of you opponent during the super. How does this help you?

thank you lordgrobyc'. I was waitng for someone to say that. If im caught in a beam special across the screen, i just get teleported close to my opponent, but not behind him. so, Im still caught in the beam!! So, as long as you and your opponents backs are not touching opposite sides of the screen, you should be ok.

Why don't you just choose Psylocke as your helper, then you wouldn't have to worry about spiral at all. :)

lol spiral is good, she can teleport, do dancing swords, increase her ability, has lots of arms and swords, and a level 3 super :D
