Sakura ####ie problems - Just need help!

Tips, well, i'm learning to use sakura now. So, i wouldn't be the best person to answer that.

As for her moves, Go to X-Force 2010 (http://nosoul4evr.cyberfuturism.com/) to learn all character moves, SFO news, etc.

if you've played MSHVSSF then you should be able to have somewhat of a clue on how to use her...and if your somewhat good with E.Ryu then you can become a killer sakura user since most of the attacks are similar and BETTER than E.Ryu. you just have to know how to combine certain attacks and know each opponents characters weakness. Spiderman is the weakest/easiest opponent vs sakura :biggrin:

woh woh woh u jusy say spidey is the weakest character vs sakura? u mean that as in spidey can own sakura right? i mean doesnt his spidey kick cancel her dash and his wweb sting is prime against her since she has hadoukens at 40 degree angles? i mean corret me if im misstaken Nferno but isnt spidey a character to counter-act sakura? if thats what u meant then cool but if ur saying the opposite plz do explain.... :dontgetit:

Remember, nferno can use alot of the characters, he could probably fins a weakness for spiderman with any character. I've seen his sakura a while ago, and i know i was going down. but ya. I'll le him tell u for himself :biggrin:

im sure he can. i use to be a crazy sakura user and i even rivaled the skills of pip99 but then i picked up the other female of the game and been mastering her for some time now...... i've been think of going back to sakurs but her glitches just piz the heck out of me and makes it sooo frustrating to play as her.... -_- soo im holding off untill after the next update to use her again...

Well the best way to do is look at all your character choices..Go to Storymode and practise with everyone and you should find who is your best...then when you do that only practise with that person and sooner or later you will be very good...It worked with my ken and now I'm known as a very well ken user :D

a spidey kick is NO match for sakura's defensive air hadoken...you wont get anywhere near me if you try the kick technique. most spidey users just got the web ball 3-4 times into a web kick which NEVER works for her. then they LOVE to get to level 3 only to be stopped by her special in mid air :biggrin:

Sakura only seems okay... I noticed a few glaring problems with her.

:Her ground Hadouken is a good anti-air, but if the person jumps in blocking, she can be punished heavily (e.g. hurt badly) with a normal attack into a super (or Ryu can just do Shinkuu Hadouken 'cuz it comes out so fast).

:Her Shouken, while it does go through projectiles once it starts up, is very unsafe even on hit. Unfortunately, she can be hit while she screeches to a halt afterwards, whether the attack hits, misses, or is blocked. The only way she's safe after it being blocked is if they block a point-blank fierce punch Shouken, and you go over to their back. Perhaps if the Shouken knocked them back, it would be much better.

:It's nice that her fierce attacks knock the opponent back for spacing games, but unfortunately she's a little too slow for most of her normal attacks besides jabs and crouching fierce punch to be effective against good competition. Perhaps if fierce punch and fierce kick did more damage, it'd be more worth it.

:Her Hadouken is cancelled out by Ryu's Hadouken when the two Hadoukens would meet, but are at different heights. In addition, with her aerial Shouken, when you go directly over the opponent, you slow down as if you're running into them. It'd be nice if you could Shouken over them. I'm supposing these two are just glitches, and can be expected to be fixed :confused:.

Anyways, new character is quite fun, albeit flawed :confused:. I suppose that playing fighting games competitively for the last three years made me think of things this way. Sorry if this gets anybody down, with me having issues with the character a bit.

sakura will be tweaked :biggrin:

as far as ryu doing a ton of damage when he jump blocks....it's very noticable when they will do that...so a simpe dash takes care of that.
