i think cyclopse is a definite match with ryu. i think cyclopse can beat anyone so far. hes truely a great char. :crazy:

I dunno. I think cyclops is a bit slow. But on the bright side, se has excellent long range and a pretty good jump. I daresay that ryu met his match. :thumbsup:

well cyclopse's optic sweep can easily cancel out the hadoken. but i like them both so i use both of them when im in tag. with ryu and cyclopse's super u'r unstoppable. :baaa:

optic blast vs.hadoken-CORRECT-technicly CORRECT cyclops can do optic blast forever while ryu can do hadoken's repeatadly and optcic blast would get closer each hadoken.

cyclone kick vs. spin kick-WRONG-cyclone kick can get 2 hits at best while spin kick can get 3-4 hits at best.technicly WRONG spin kick defeats cyclone kick in every way

gene splice vs.shoryoken-EVEN the odds of ryu going in to the beam of cyclops is pretty slim if they are both doing uppercuts.technicly EVEN (same reply for technicly)

mega optic blast vs.super fire ball-in the game EVEN technicaly-CORRECT (same reason as optic blast and hadoken)

And yes I know that Ryu now is better than Ken but at the beggining Ken was always the one kicking Ryu's carcas but later Ryu understood what he was doing and focused but Ken didn't understand that for a while untill Alpha3 when Sakura some what woke him up from what was holding him back and finnaly after he beat Bison he even started training all over Japan (Zero starts training like Ken at the end of SFA3) It doesn't matter what the game says but your ability to use the character! Because of my ability to use Ken I can even Kill off Storm and Magneto with ease. (and a little help from his dragon punch and kick :tounge2: Ryu and Ken are like their master Gokuens said before Akuma killed him. Ken and Ryu are like the ying and yang of the Shatoken style :yinyang: not as in one evil and one good but as the same style yet stronger in some places. I think so, most ryu users mostly fireball, cyclops and also do the same thing, and if they choose to fight, cyclops got some cool kicking hits, so I think that is a good challenge

Actually, I still think Sakura would be good against Ryu, Cyclops, Chunli, and Sentinel. But, yes, Ryu hasn't met his match....yet! (he found something harder...) ^.^ I hope Sakura's comiong soon... ^_^

I must admit, too, that out of the current 5 players, Cyclops owns them all. Sure, I've beaten Cyclops with Chun-Li and Ryu, but the optic sweep and the other uber moves arent real easy to avoid. It's hard to avoid his Optic Blast Special, it takes up the whole side of the screen, there is almost no escape. It seems like the best thing to do is beat the crap out of him so he isn't able to use special. If they vote in Storm next, it's gonna be hell =) she's uber on the real game.
