Just wondering if it helps you people out there that are on a dial-up connection like myself, when you turn off the music and background does it help whatsoever reduce the lag?(eg. people teleporting etc.)

yup it certainly helps, close all programmes such as msn, kazaa and any i.e windows, turn off the background, put the music off and away u go.

Make sure all your programs your not using are off. When i say off, i mean completely shut down. Some prgrams like msn messgner kazaa and aim when you close them you just minmize them and they are closed. There at bottom right of your screen beside the time. Right click on them and choose Close/Exit and then you can be assure that theyre fully closed. Also stop all the downloads, uploads and installtions. These can make lag more and intese. And by turning off the game music and background your lag will reduce alot.

Well whenever I fight someone and I have a ping time of 130ms or less, the match usually goes really smooth. This is usually when I host or when I join someones game that has an extremely good connection speed. but mostly if I quick challenge or somethin its 300ms or more :( , and thats where you see 300 hadokens flying at you at once lol

Taking off the music, sound completly, and background helps but not a lot.

Not sure if this is supposed to happen, when i take off the bg in the options why does it still show. Just wondering.

sooner or later you forget about lag and start picking up spidey senses, I have a nack for knowing where they'll be.

It helps tho put on your own music it helps with the boredom of playing w/o music and turning off the bg plus it doesn't cause lag
