Sfo announcement. - Lets try to make comics..

I believe we all could work together and create comics for the community.

I realize this ideal was first brought to the public of SFO by Warmor,but I believe it's time we made it a reality.

I remeber the member <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>Razz</span> made some comics they flipping owned.

And I myself had messed with them once myself.

I realize the abilities of the members now and I believe we are able to do this now.

This idea from yore came o me while I was veiwing <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>Blanka09's</span> website. Which holds the information on the SFO Camera Club and the screenshots...of many well known people in the community with catchy music.

When I viewed this site with the famous song from Bebop <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>"The Real Folkes Blues"</span>.

I realized alot of you new members want to be known in the community.

The first member to make comics here will become a legend....

And without a doubt a member of NWO maybe and Adminstrator...

I know TMyApp wants this just as bad as I do.

The wait is over...

Comics of the members of the community are comming to SFO if your ready or not..

i suggest you don't make such deductions about prizes for people doing comics and all !

making things like web sites and all didn't made anyone mods... its their devotion towards this community that made them it, not their web sites nor their other projects !

making comics won't make anyone NWO and even less ADMIN !

Warmor made an attempt at comics and gained the status of modship...(Thats the only reason he became a mod)

I'm more than positive that if a member of this community made steady comics about the members of this community.

TMyApp would award them with Mod Status which is nowbeing a member of NWO.

SBYRD5: do you even know that WARMOR had the very first NEWS WEBSITE about SFO, did you even know that warmor was one of the best fighter around ? did you even know that warmor was very friendly and helping every fliping person in this forum when he was always here ?

if you answered no to any of those then it is what you missed for saying the comics is what made him a mod, cause he surely didn't got chosed for that !

TMyApp takes one who is devoted to this community, doing a comic isn't devotion, its a project to be known that's all ! it will not make you a mod nor an admin !

Warmor was already known for the last 1 when he became a mod, it took him a year to get known, 2000warrior as well ! kks, also, and mainly all other mods were here for the last year when they got chosen.

seriously, only VIPER graduated very very very fast to the admin status, but from what he did, he deserved it badly !

and a last question... since when is becoing an NWO changes our equality ?
for all i know i am the very same guy, a guy that you still can almost beat, a man that will still be the same guy he used to be... the only thing that differs... is the fact that i can nowban/kick,eject you from chat servers or forum ! but then again, why would i be chosen if i was that cheap as to kick/ban/eject whoever i don't like ? heck mods themselves would be getting banned or kicked so fast if i was to do that !

i'd be glad to help. i'm pretty artisic on the PC (the only reason is that i have a graphics tablet), so if you want me to help, i'd definatly wanna be in.

and, i dont think you'd become a mod for this. you could get a special title like PX Comic Creator or w/e, but i don't think anything is really needed like that.

I dont think creating a comic is a waste of time. And from one comic a sequel can be made or a totally differnet story all together. I think byrd's idea is quite good actually, I might even give it a shot myself.

I think this topic is about creating comics.. let's not focus on the whole mod/prize thingy or whatever cause it does not matter.. being a mod or w/e in this community is based soley on how you help the community become better.

Anyway, I think it is a good idea... making comics.. All we need is a focal point to begin with and how to develop ideas.. How on earth do these comics work.. Are they about fights?? or what.. Now those are questions SBYRD5 should be answering and not questions/accusations about whether or not you'll become a mod if you do these comics.

And just to add, Maximumspider.com (http://maximumspider.com) didn't do too badly for its first month thanks to you guys.. and we'll continue to grow sronger and bigger by the grace of God.
If this comic thing works out nicely, I wouldn't mind creating a space for it on the website and adding some juicy content.. who knows.. maybe movies as well :biggrin: .. but al it takes is time and commitment.. How committed are the members of the community to making this dream a reality. :biggrin:

What format is it going to be in? Will it be a sprite comic? Or maybe CG?
