just wanna give a little comment about our current practice mode play set-up
i just noticed that unlike b4, the practie mode is now a lot easier to win, AIs are a lot easier to beat same goes to onslaught's final level
its not that im bragging or anything
my point is, practice mode doesnt put up much of a challenge nor give the right practice anymore, especially to new players and to semi-new like me...no wonder some ppl dont use it often to train themselves
how about we tweak it a little bit more
make it a bit harder, "in-between hard and easy"
a way which makes vets give the right hardass and new players training so they know what to expect when they go online
make AIs do variable/crossever attacks, and supers more
if the regular users cant have evil ryu or black spidey on actual play, make them available AI opponents on practice mode, so they can train themselves for the ppl who uses them
tweaking doesnt mean screwing things up on what they are now, but i think it would help players like me to do better in the actual game if we have a semi-hard, (just a little only) practice mode... :)

That's not a bad idea though but I feel that not all players of the game are in the same level and making the practice mode a little harder might frustrate the new ones that still want to learn more fighting techniques
I really agree that AI's should do the crossovers so as to show new fighters what to expect in the game. But if it ain't too much work for Tmy maybe there should be 2 levels of the practice mode.
*edit*: Dang.. that was sooo cool..

i think that the whole reason it was made easier was because people kept complaining that it was too hard

I wish the cpu didn't block so much. I don't mind the difficulty, but they block too much. Sometimes, I have to stop, call a helper, and try a juggle combo just to attack.

practise mode is only good if u dont know any moves..playing real players all the time gets u better

but still, the practice mode doesnt put up much of a challenge anymore
what if someone wants to have a good game without putting his/her rank on at stake?
or how can you gain experience/skill if you always being raped by a callous player who doesnt want to teach/help you?
being a good player doesnt always rely on playing the actual game or by encountering good players
the practice mode is essential therefore, it needs to be further enhanced

PRactise mode is good for trying out moves and making strats that work, if ya wanna challenge why not just fight some one. ???

i do have to agree that in practice mode the computer only blocks and you should add variables + the vip characters in practice mode.
But what about the people how want to play at the arcade and dont wanna spent their money getting crushed because they're new. Maybe u should add the air combos to practice mode also.....only if u dont mind. But keep up the good work anyways :buttrock:

Story Mode replaces practice...so basicly if you want to practice you can only practice 1 round by pushing the start button(1) in the 1st fight in story mode...

many ways to get the AI to get up in speed and reflexes to activities has been declared by me and nferno666, at least i think... by what we found out, it was going this way ...
EASY = NORMAL (slowed down gameplay means slowed down opponents)
NORMAL = TURBO (pretty much the normal game, fast opponent means fast reflexes and cheap blocks)
HARD = TURBO 2 (hidden bug that nferno666 found usefull, it basically gets the action even faster thus making the game very hard to play as and very good to train if you're already an expert)
getting turbo 2
start the game normally choose turbo then in the game open up the chat box and then type in /turbo 1
this will activate the turbo mode, but since its already turbo, it bring it to turbo 2 instead !
try it and see the differences between them 3 !
there ya have it, all three modes of play for your liking !

yeah.. and there are other commands that work in the story mode.. (and the game mode if I might add.. ). For those of you who complain about the game speed, try checking the amount of fps your system is generating so as to find out whether the problem is with your PC..
Do this by opening the chat box during the game and type /fps
A number below 10... bad game play..
Between 10 and 35.. acceptable game play
above 35, Excellent game play (reduced lag.. at least from your side.. )

Can't argue with that.. but it always helps to have a better connection and run fewer programmes when playing..
