Havoc: mischief inc has done it again I need help big time I need to talk to someone who knows about the internet.........................like the back of there hand.
Ok it's along story I make it short
me and my friends playing truth or dare.....................
dare me to go on a p**nography site................
{knowing me never turn down a dare}
went to one I could get in
it said no minors and to make sure no minors get in, it said we have taken your ip {scarey stuff}
I remember what Tmyapp and Zing79 told me about the ip
that they could trace you and blah blah blah
the worst is yet to come
the site said it was free and stuff I thought I could get in get out no problem M.I.3
but it said it will give my info. to the proper authorities.
and blah
ok
the big question is what will happen next.....
will they really do it
after this i'm becoming a boy scout yeah right.......

Aww, geez! Why the #### did you do that?? They may have identified your IP address, meaning the police or your internet supplier would know you were there (if they gave it to them). Perhaps it was a bait site set up to catch people who look at that regularly. It is illegal to do that, you know... I'm not sure what the police would do, but I do know that internet providers would probably ban you from their service. It's in your best interest to not do those truth or dares anymore, and hope it was just a bluff.

You can delete the history items for that site, but you can never delete the shortcut from the dropdown bar. Well, technically, you can, but you can FUBAR your machine if you don't know what you're doing... it concerns editing the main user settings file for Windows, so if you make a mistake, it gets to be a really messy mistake. I figured it out because I wanted to have a backup plan if I ever needed some GameFAQs magic (I wasn't allowed to visit those sites a while ago, don't ask why). If you really want to remove those shortcuts, send me a PM and I'll go over it in detail, but don't blame me if your machine stops working because you did something wrong. I warn you, it seems like something is wrong during the process, but it always should turn out right in the end.

Then again, all of this is a moot point if that is your computer, and not a family machine.

try this program called Ad-Ware, delete ur temp folder, cookies, history etc, then try the find button and search for stuff like sx, or porn, stuff like dat.


also, if u have 56k or dial up ur isp# changes everytime u connect. u only need to worry if you have cable or dsl or t1
