well i maked this topic because i saw no ken tut so i want to make one.ken is on of the best shoto/normal user in the world of sfo.for the new comer at sfo here is a list of ken moves http://nosoul4evr.cyberfuturism.com/characters/kenmoves.html

basic stragies
well ken is a close range charater so it good for the user that is using ken to stick close to there challenger, try to get your oppenet in the corner and it's good if you do your super at level 2 so you have a extra level when you really need it.


ken vs ryu
helper(s):guile,Juggernaut,Zangief
well ryu user really like the air alot, all they do is hadoken and then super jump. it good for ken user to also super jump.well it good to do your super on the ground and in the air try to get over the ryu user and do your hadoken .unlike the other hadoken ken disappear after it travel some distance so it good to stay close to the ryu user.try to get them in a corner and a good helper to use is guile,try to use it when they are in a corner or near to it and then do Shinryuken. that move take away alot of damage if your not blocking.when fighting ryu user just try yo stay above them and do alot of super jumps and do your super close to them.*hint: most of ken super moves or close range*

ken vs akuma
helper(s):guile,cody,Juggernaut,hulk
well akuma user also like the air very much one of akuma strongest move is in the air(other than raging demon).stay realy close to them and when you see they have more than 2 level try to save a helper because they may be going for the raging demon. try to stay close to them and when you see them do Shinku Hadoken try to get under them and do Shinryuken.if it hit that will take away alot of damage and also try to do high dragon punch which can bring you through projective move with out get hit, it's good if you do all 3 in a row and then get on the attack.

ken vs Wolverine
helper(s):cammy,guile,hulk,zangief
well this will be kind of easy Wolverine has close range move but ken move are stronger and ken has a porjective move with
Wolverine does not.Wolverine user will come to you because in order for them to hit you with a super they have to come out and hit you with Berserker Barrage so just ken upper cut super(Shoryureppa) and that should catch them most of the time because they are always on the attack. and try to catch them in Shinryuken one of ken strongest move.


ken vs Sentinel
helper(s):guile,hulk,cammy,Juggernaut
well this will be easy.all you have to do is stay close to this big robot and hit them with high kick and try to do ken upper(not super move) which mostly catch sentinel user because howbig they are and try to push them in the corner and do Shinryuken.the main thing to do when fighting sentinel user is to stay close to them and watch out for rocket punch.

ken vs chunlee
helper(s):guile,hulk,cody,cammy
well this will kind of hard,why because chunlee super like to jump around alot.try to do hadoken alot.chunlee user are fast so watch her self they will try yo get close enogh to get you in Super Energy Blast and the good side to this in when they are trying to get close to you to catch you in it you can do
Shinryuken a very strong close range move. just do alot of hadoken and stay in the air. and try to do ken upper cut super when (some chunlee user) they are not moving all over the place.

ken vs cycoples
helper(s):guile.cody,hulk,cammy
well cycoples user only have ground super so they if they are always in the air they have to come down soon if they want to do a super.stay really close to them and try not to make them over around to much.try to use a good helper like guile and then do Shinryuken and if it hit that alot of damage and try to do ken dragon punch(high) alot

ken vs spiderman
helper(s):guile,hulk,Juggernaut
well this is going to be kind of hard.why because spiderman user like the air just like ryu and akuma.well try to do your hadoken mostly in the air so if has a better chance of hitting
them while they are moving around alot.just try to get close to them and do Shinryuken and try to get in there web ball. do alot of dragon punch's in the air because spiderman user like the air so much.try to stay close to them unless it the vip spideramn which has death bite(not super) and try to do different combo's on them.

ken vs onslaught
helper(s):guile,anything helper after that
well just stay close on use her helper onslaught have very strong move that can really put a hurting on you.the helper that does' the most damage to onslaught is guile and do Shinryuken which does alot of damage. and do a varble if you play in tag match, that a sure victory.

ken vs bison
helper(s):guile,cammy,hulk,anything after that
well this will be kind of easy, most of bison projective move are slow not only that bison lose alot of life if he is not blocking.bison has close range attack so it good if you close to him do your super before they do.or use a helper(goos helper to use is guile). try do high dragon punch and do alot of hadoken in the air,because bison can't do any hadoken(or whatever it called) in the air but be careful he has a ground time hadoken that goe's up.

thanks i tryed to make a ken tut because no one maked one so i want to be the first :)

one thing you forgot. The disappearing helper can really prove useful with Ken.

She switches you then you use a Shinuuken and bam thats alot of life gone from ur opponent right there.

Risky though.

V a expericed Laggy Ryu user to much of a risk. Where as you could choose cody or guile and be guarenteed atleast some damage.

Back on topic:The tut is good not as good as the one Supertrooper made for Chun li but good...Pip its cheap too use cody and guile too win a fight but if you host and dont pick them someone else will join ur game and pick them...

you can't compare chunlee and ken.. because they are different charater so dasupertrooper tut has not thing to do with ken

Basic Strategies:
Well ken is a close range fighter so its good for the person that is using ken to stick close to there opponent, try to get your opponent in the corner and it's good if you do your super at level 2 so you have a extra level when you really need it.


Ken Vs. Ryu
helper(s):guile,Juggernaut,Zangief
While fighting a Ryu user try too Stay as close as possible without getting hit when you do hadokens make sure you go high enough in the air so that you cant be hit by his supers when he does a super on the ground and ur in the air and cant dodge if your high enough above the super just continue doing hadokens until the super is over if you dodge their super by using a super jump as soon as you land make sure you do your super and it will do massive damage too the ryu user ....*hint: all except for dark ken's super moves are close range*

Ken Vs. Akuma
helper(s):guile,cody,Juggernaut,hulk
Akumas move too watch out for is the Raging Demon especially when fighting a shin akuma so you must not waste your helpers when you see that your opponent is about too use a shinku hadoken you immediately super jump behind them and use the shiryuken this will do massive damage too Akuma just like it does too Ryu...

Ken Vs. Wolverine
helper(s):guile,cody,Juggernaut,hulk
Well this is kind of an easy accomplishment just do alot of projectiles and dont let them trap you in the corner and strike with a super at the right time because they can block it causing it too do nothing too their health bar...


Ken Vs. Sentinel
helper(s):guile,hulk,cammy,Juggernaut
It depends on the Sentinel User and how they move around because some sentinel users are quite tricky too catch but other then that this will be a sinch...Just stay close and do alot of kicks never try and use projectiles against a sentinel user because they will use rocket punch which goes right through projectiles..When you have the chance hit Sentinel with any super you can because they all hurt him pretty badly..Plus he is very easy to trap in the corners..

Ken Vs. Chun li
helper(s):guile,hulk,cody,cammy
Well this willbe kind of hard why because chun li's supers are hard to dodge try using alot of projectiles because it is hard for a chunli user too counter watch out for their specials and when they have levels try too stay away from them and after they use their specials get near them and do yours..Try too keep your distance from the chunli user unless you have levels too use a super..

Ken Vs. Cyclops
helper(s):guile.cody,hulk,cammy
Well cyclop users only have ground supers so if they are always in the air go under them while they try too use the optic blast too stay up and use the shinryuken this will do alot of damage and make them come down giving you the oppurtunity for another super another good move too use on them is the shippu-Jinrai kyaku because it can go right through there optic blasts while there on the ground and do alot of damage too them if they dont dodge it fast enough..Plus if you have more then 1 level too ur hyper bar you can use the shippu-Jinrai kyaku then the shinryuken and do extra damage too the cyclops user especially if they are not blocking...

Ken Vs. Spiderman
helper(s):guile,hulk,Juggernaut
Well this is pretty hard too accomplish since spiderman users can stay in the air along time but an easy way too catch them is do the Shinryuken while they are trying to do the flying kick and it will hit them because they will fly right into it do alot of the dragon punches because it will hit them while they are trying too fly around...It is almost impossible too stay close too them because of their flying kick but if you can get close then do so and hit them with a super any chance you get and also do alot of hadokens...

Ken Vs. Onslaught
helper(s):guile,anything helper after that
Well just stay close to onslaught and use helpers and use the shinryuken while your guile has it trapped in the corner but keep in mind that they can still use hulk which will knock you out the air so you might want to reserve 1 or 2 helpers for when they run out and that will be a sure victory..

Ken Vs. Bison
helper(s):Any will do..
Well this can be quite easy too accomplish seeing as how his projectiles are very slow stay close too them until they get a super then move away.Try too hit them with flurries of hadokens too keep them from doing their supers..This is an easy fight so you shouldnt have too worry too much...

Ken Vs. Ken
helpers:guile,hulk,juggernaut,captain america,cammy
In a Ken Vs. Ken fight you should try too stay in the air as much as you can and follow all of your opponents moves and you must anticipate when your opponent will do a super if they are using a Shinryuken make sure you get away from them as fast as possible...As for the Shippu Jinkai Kyaku as soon as you see them coming at you with this super use a Shinryuken and it should catch them if you did it fast enough...As for the Shoryureppa use the same strategy as the Shippu Jinkai Kyaku and use the ShinryuKen at the right time which will easily catch the Ken user that is using the Shoryureppa super...

actually I didnt really edit it I changed mostly everything around except for the helpers etc...I made a whole different Wolverine sentinel cyclops onslaught and bison strategy and my ryu and akuma strategy isnt like yours either so I didnt ripp poop off from you..

you guys forgot about the Dr. Doom, he is one of th ebest helpers for Ken especially cuz he gives that extra combo..but i dont feel like elaborating on my ken skillz..studyin..lol but i think you should get adivce from the best ken users on this game if you want a good tutorial ;-)

just thought i'd add a few things:
when fighting against a character with a long ranged super, study their moves closely and learn when they use their supers. once you can predict when they are going to do their super, super jump behind them and hit them with the flaming upercut super.
A character with short range supers will come to you when they are going to do a super, so just do the flaming upercut super when you predict they are going to come at you
