ok first read the FAQ's (http://projectx.cyberfuturism.com/faq/) about the game..and try some differant networking options....if your running 56k or slower make sure you have the "slow connection" option selected in the networking option of the game....another thing that could be slowing you down are "cookies" try dumping your internet temp files.....as well as using some kind of "cookie removal" programs like Ad-Aware 5.0 that will help remove "bad/tricky' cookies from your system....another thing would be "Dont multitask" while playing the game...the more proccesses that your computer is running in the back ground causes your system to run slower...another thing is maybe look for a modem emulator that will "open up your ports"..and if none of this helps.....maybe look into gettng another service provider for you net connection.

umm Randy...you asked for advice and i gave it to you...these are techniques that all the players have tried.....if you dont like the advise that i gave you..then i suggest that you not ask for advice in the future and figure it all out on you little own....nuff said

You are stuck with high ping. It isn't shit. You want less ping? Move next door to the person you want to fight.

It's supposed to say >3000, and its because in the fight, there is a lot of super moves which cause lag, and all that crap, dont blame fights on lag, if you lose, you lose, its not the end of the world. everyone has lossed before, even me. And rank doesnt matter one bit, rank determines how many n00bs you can beat within one hour.

i remember the days when ranking was only to show who was the best but now....it's different with the new system. You remember those days tark? but now it's not the same :(

Now wait a second... I did some research, and it seems that the current scoring system is the least flawed. Because scores for different rankings are weighted, if you just fight newbies all the time, you won't be getting as many points as fighting good players (not saying that newbies aren't good, but most aren't).

Or someone can have luck, beat TarkanX once and get in the top 100.

That is why it is the least flawed, not flawless.
