the topic title kinda covers it all..but i was wondering if,as the game becomes more popular and more players are loggin' on to the mikerosoft servers to play XM Vs. SF Online....will this eventualy end up costing us money to play the game?
when TMyApp finaly completes this game in the ways he would like to...it's gonna be huge...sending emence amounts info through the net with FOUR players per battle..the band width is gonna have to be crazy wide just to support the game and all the users.that kind of band width usualy ends up costing some body something.
like my title says...i'm new..and still have lots to learn about this site, moderators, and players so fill me in..tell me whats up.
and as always...im still looking for other websites, dedicated to this game to add to my homepage..so if you got a site or anything about this game...send me a message...or send me an e-mail. thx

...well i was new when i posted this back in October

nosoul4evr: this game will always be free, no matter what

if we need more bandwidth, i'm 100% sure we'll have 50 people offering their servers tommorow (just like now, when lefty, snakeyes, ooscanoo and myst3k are hosting the game chat servers, offering their bandwidth to hundreds of people each hour just because they want to help and see this project succeed)

i hate bringing up old topics...how ever it should most definetly be practiced more often ...i bring this topic up to help the newer players understand the game....and to push that whole"hannibal incident" further down the list...or at least till a mod removes some more useless posts from the forum

Look at it this way... The game has to remain free. Since both Street Fighter and the X-men are copyrighted, if anyone charges to play it, they're gonna get sued to #### and back! So, don't worry about having to pay to play this game. If you have to pay to play, then the game won't even be able to run anymore...

there is only one thing i hope will not happen !

and that's what happen to the patch name Bid For Power for Quake 3 Arena !

the people that worked so hard to achieved just got crash by the company who own the dragonball Z stuff here in america just because there where doing something and the patch would have been free so i just hope capcom or marvel wont be on your back for doing what your doing TMY.

I Think the game rock and i hope to see more caracter in the future keep up the good work !
